Welcome to the ToS Shipping Meme! The rules are simple.
1. Post your character/preferences.
2. Reply to other characters with one of the following scenarios

Remember, this is just a fun meme so you can ship things that would NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY in game. Yay for no in-character consequences to bad decisions.


SCENARIOS

1. Stupid Cupid Your characters stumble upon a room in the lab in the The Administrative Tower. A mist is in the air, something to help releive stress and make work production much better. Your characters may be close friends, strangers, or sworn enemies. Whatever the case is, they are now suddenly and inexplicably in complete and total love. They may or may not be aware that this makes no sense, but they can't help themselves.

2. Some Like It Hot Forget love and new beginnings. Something strange must be in the drink supply. There's no stopping you, even if you tried. Whoever you find first is the lucky person. Will you make it to a bed or not is anyone's guess.

3. I Can Hear The Bells Your characters are getting married. Maybe it's true love, maybe it's to get out of marrying Tristan, maybe you're being forced into it and this ship is a little dub-con, or maybe it's because you accidentally participated in some Nysgod ritual and weren't aware of its implications. Either way, the wedding is about to happen or just has. How do you feel about that?

4. I Don't Want To Go Your character has been determined to NOT be the one for Tristan. Whether or not they like it, they're being sent home. Do they choose to spend it with a close friend, with the one they love? Or maybe, do they decide to finally tell that person they've always had a crush on just how they feel? You only have one night left, what you do with it is up to you.

5. The First Time Your characters are interested in each other and it's time to do something about it. Either the first date, the first kiss, the first I love you....or some other significant first. Whatever it is, it's definitely time to take that step. So who's going to take the initiative?

6. The Morning After Your characters definitely went at it. Maybe it's the first time, maybe they're cheating on someone, maybe it was out of anger. Whatever the case, for some reason, it was significant and you're going to have to talk about it. Good morning, Starshine! The earth says it's time for some cuddling and/or awkward conversation.

7.Fuck The Man Tired of the rules, tired of the work hours? Why do it? Why not grab someone you like or dislike and slam them down in the staff room of the work space. Or against a tree in the park. Or even the landlady's office. They may not like it but who cares. It's time to work out some stress.

8. Potpourri Have another idea? Pregnancy, proposal, accidental body contact, trapped together, caught in the rain, hurt/comfort, etc? Go for it! Make your own scenarios up and run with them.

"I don't know how I let you talk me into this." Nott said as she struggled to put on the dress she had chosen. Neither had seemed overly eager for a big event. Just a small gathering of friends and a simply ceremony to mark the day. Despite her sass, there was an air of excitement lingering over her.

Exploring had brought her here, though finding her way out would be far trickier. It was fairly obvious that something was significantly different about this place. The air seemed sweeter and lighter. Her senses more relaxed than before. It had a certain quality, only one word could ever describe it. "Magic."

Seeing Merlin only raised her suspicions before a stronger and more powerful emotion hit. Love. Something she never felt before him before, beyond friendship. But now it was undeniable and harder to ignore.

Reinette stared at him, feeling as though she were seeing him for the first time.

The trouble with magic was... it like to change the rules up on you. One minute you were doing something simple with a finger snap and a ritual.. just to make the Mermaids giggle because they didn't seem to really understand his normal babbling. But they liked it when he got 'showy' with his magic.

The next minute that ritual turned into a full blown enchantment spell and Merlin really only blamed the one with the blue hair since she seemed to know a bit more magic than she'd let on in the first place.

Some funny joke. It left Merlin feeling a bit dazed but otherwise content when they swam away in their waterfalls. He sensed more than heard Reinette's approach behind him.

Each light footstep of hers felt like a weight on his chest. He didn't really know what to call that.

All the small details of his person and personality had seemed overlooked for so long. Now, they were a burning sun, blinding her and creating pressure against her heart. Everything about him hurt, but the good sort of hurt that she had only known once before. She shook as she approached him, her fingers trembling as she reached out to place her hand upon his shoulder.

It was strange to consider that she had never touched him before. Not like this. All the other encounters idle moments leading up to what was the inevitable. At least in the presence of this magic.

She took a small breath, afraid to say a word, lest it be the wrong one that would send him elsewhere. Away from her presence, away from her.

Merlin could only smile as he turned to look down at her. There was a grace to the woman that Merlin always associated with those of a noble nature, either by birth or by habit. He had been around enough of those women in his formative years that a special place existed in his heart for them.

He was drawn to her.

"Did you have a question for me, apprentice?" It was not a position that they'd formally agreed up on. Not yet. Though Merlin let the word be it's own kind of promise.

There was the usual kind of awkward morning after. Not something that Merlin really made a habit of, if he was entirely honest. But it happened every now and then.

Waking up in a stranger's bed (or loft in this case) was unexpected and strange.

And then there was this.

Merlin knew the face of the other man by vague memory. He'd walked through this man's mind during the network backlash, but he hadn't ever actually met the scientist other than spotting him across the room.

This was beyond awkward. It was downright unsettling.
