How's My Driving + Player Plotting Post

Time for Throne of Shadow's very first How's My Driving combined with our very first Player Plotting Post!

Here's how this works. Respond to this post with a comment that includes your character's information, including a synopsis (one or two sentences or a bullet list is fine) about your character.

People can respond with either an HMD, offering praise or constructive criticism of your character, or they can find out who your character is through the synopsis and if they think they have a character who should get some CR with yours, you plan for your characters to meet, make out, try to break out of the Waiting Room, or just interact in general.

Please note if your character is currently in the Dollhouse. This plot is winding toward a close, and people should be back from it soon. Don't let it stop you for planning character interactions after the plot finishes!

And, of course, please be courteous with any criticism of other people's characterization or writing. We're a small game, and we should all try to play nice with others.

Darius has, so far, shocked Glinda into fainting and pretended to be a servant at a party. He's also left Eliot the middle bed in the room they share with Glinda.

Other than that, he can usually be found cleaning something or other. NPC servants may be annoyed? He's pulled from the point of his death and has a lot of recovering to do.

Spike's been here from the beginning, and is not enjoying himself. He's been plucked straight from his sacrifice at the end of the Buffy series, so he doesn't even know if Buffy made it out, and assumes he himself is dead. It makes knowing whether he can even go back pretty difficult. However, he does have a soul and is somewhat reformed, despite still being his snarky self. He's in the Dollhouse right now, but I'm open to anything after that. He'll probably be pretty shaken up.

I believe anon is turned on my journal HMD, if you'd prefer.

Eliot Waugh does not have an HMD post set up, mostly because I forgot.
Eliot is currently in the Dollhouse. He's the High King of a Narnia-esque world and a graduate of Brakebills College, a super secret magical institute, and all that despite having been born to a family of soybean farmers in the Middle of Nowhere, Oregon. He loves being a king, he can come off as fairly pretentious, and if you are a man, he will probably flirt with you at some point. That said, he's going to be emotionally distraught coming off of the Dollhouse incident.

Loki is currently in the Dollhouse. He was taken right from the beginning of The Avengers, as he was traveling through the portal toward Earth, so now that he's in Dagaz he's basically traded one ambition for another. After all, he's stuck here, so he may as well try to win (no one's told him yet that Nysgods operate on love-at-first-sight. OOPS).
One concern I've had is, I sometimes worry that I'm playing him too nice and/or cooperative with others... even though there would have to be some of that in order for him not to be the Villainous Villain all the time. If anyone has thoughts on that aspect, I would really appreciate it.

Teenage girl who has been forced twice now to complete in a televised competition to the death against her peers to get her starving district food. She is in the Dollhouse right now, and will be getting out of it incredibly upset. Because that shit was terrible.

Smart mouthed gunslinger originally from NYC but has spent the last ??? amount of time in a post apocalyptic western. He is wander around the waiting room and trying to figure out wtf is going on.

CHELL {portal}

She was a test subject in a huge underground scientific testing facility run by a crazy robot. She escaped once, only to be dragged back in, and was let go after trying to escape a second time. Before coming to Dagaz, she couldn't remember having any interaction with non-robots, and so she's stunted socially. Right now she's in the dollhouse with Spike and Eliot.

RED RIDING HOOD {once upon a time}

She inherited a werewolf curse and every full moon turns into one unless she wears her magical red hood. Her true love and she mistakenly thought he was the wolf, so they chained him to a tree so he couldn't hurt anyone. Then the full moon came out and she turned, ripping him apart. In Dagaz, the Nysgods know what she is from reading her mind, which really pisses her off, and now Loki and Katniss know, because she told them in the dollhouse.

Been here since the very start. Currently in the Dollhouse. Is going to be very attention seeking/needy after it. Still missing Arkady. Could be interesting to play about with her pheromones affecting some of the other candidates (headaches for women and increased attraction toward her for me).

Carol Danvers:

Who is apparently still stuck in the Dollhouse with Crowley and Gaila. When (IF) they ever get out, she's going to be very moody, particularly after her little nightmare scenario. She's feeling a bit sadface about being here, so could use a friend/bud for cheering up purposes.

Jinx Cereus:

Just arrived and met Bert on the Network. Other than that, no interaction for her, but she's really the friendly sort and would love to meet anyone. Can come in regular or tiny size, and is very good at fiddling with machines. Also, say goodbye to personal space around her, because pixies do not understand that word. It's mostly just friendly and her way of placating herself by touch-comfort, but if she finds someone interesting/attractive, she'll let you know.

Crowley: (Has an anon-enabled HMD here) He's an AU set after season 5 in which he was captured and tortured by hunters which left him blind and nearly powerless. He was rescued by demon!Bela for her own interests and left with Bobby who, not only needed something to fix after loosing everything else, but was also the only one who would put up with Crowley. Consequently, he's been living with Bobby for the past year and a half prior to showing up here.

He's currently in the dollhouse....and we'll see about his mental state afterwards. I'm open to all kinds of interactions for him~

Schala: (Also has an anon-enabled HMD here) Just arrived and she's only talked to Bert so far, I need to get her out more and meeting people. She's a sweet girl and the heir to the Kingdom of Zeal, though her kingdom was dying when she left. She's very kind, quiet, and peaceful, though her Royal Pride comes out when she feels affronted or angry.

I'm not entirely sure what to put here, cause at the moment she's truly horrible company. Her friends are in the dollhouse, she's making herself sick eating enough of the nutritional paste to get the sugar she needs to keep functioning, and she's barely sleeping. Also, she's carrying the dollhouse around with her to look after it. Though she's also spending 99% of her time in the library.

She's technically in the deadbeef room, but she hasn't actually been back to it since her first day in the waiting room, so her two roommates don't even know she's supposed to be in there. Well, except for the empty bed that no one ever sleeps in.

She'll feel a little better once Red and Eliot and Katniss (and maybe even Spike) are out of the dollhouse, though she still won't trust the Nysgod or the caretakers they've appointed for them. She's got some info she's supposed to share, though, so I need to figure that out.

Late Mary is late.

Roland is grumpy about being trapped here. Before being here, he'd spent the last 1,000 years wandering his Western-style world in search of the Tower. He'll go on at length about it if asked.

Just got my computer fixed and late to the party!

Bert's brand spanking new, and hasn't had much interaction with anyone yet. He's currently with Schala in the courtyard, chatting about their situation. He's a jovial, light-hearted jokester who always has something to say about everything - and says it - who is trying to adjust to the fact that he's not dead. He's a real people person, and up for any sort of CR! He, personally, definitely wants to catch up with Roland and meet this Eddie fellow face-to-face.

Don't have an HMD set up for him yet!
