Plot stuff coming your way!
Good evening, players. We have some plot coming your way. Please be sure to read the entire post before responding to the appropriate subthreads. There are two pieces of plot we would like to talk about:
1. Mithos' Birthday -- Day 210 (December 16-18)
The Nysgods don't have a lot in the way of holidays, but one of the most important events they like to celebrate is the birthday of their king. How old is he? No one really knows. But it's a wonderful excuse to relax a little bit. Even the uptight, work-obsessed citizens of Gebo stop to acknowledge their great king. It's a day of feasting, singing, and gift-giving. An event log will go up for the celebrations.
That's not what this post is about.
Something strange will be happening to the candidates early in the morning on Day 210. They'll wake up to discover that they've been left gifts. The gifts aren't from Santa. But who are they from? It's a bit of a mystery. These gifts will all be sentimental trinkets from back home. Included in this post is a subthread where you can put in a request for what gift your character(s) receive. Remember, these are only sentimental gifts (A locket from a dead loved one? Yes. A fully functional protocol droid? No.). Please comment below with what you'd like to receive. If you don't hear from us, assume that your character will wake up on Day 210 to find that gift waiting for them. If we have questions or concerns, we'll let you know.
2. More Dream Stuff -- Date TBD
The mods are looking for volunteers. Specifically, we're looking for characters who might suffer from nightmares. We will use an RNG to select a handful of volunteers who sign up in the subthread below. Those chosen will be asked to write up a vivid and elaborate nightmare their character could have. This nightmare will be submitted to the mods and something will happen. More details to follow. Please only sign up if you're willing to write a nightmare and possibly have parts of it shared with the rest of game.
