"It is where I'm from. Most people have darker hair. My father had dark hair." Her mother has very red hair. There is a ghost of a memory in the back of her head.

Her father putting up his jacket. Taking off his heavy work boot. Then moving to run his fingers through her mother's hair while peering over er shoulder to find out what was being cooked. Only to have his hand playfully slapped away as he went to steal a bite to eat.

That happened nearly every night. She feels bad that her father died. It killed the way her mother laughed.

"Mmm. Redemption is something that is given freely. We're all allowed to seek it. What is important is believing you are worthy and seeking to change or fix what damage you caused. A man who keeps saying he is sorry for lying but, turns around and lies again isn't actually sorry after all."
