1. Needles and certain medical equipment make him uneasy. Not a lot literally grosses him out, though.
2. Charles: he's just all kinds of inconsolable about what Charles has told him will happen. He likes having a bro. Raven: he's very taken with her. He's pursuing her actively now. Zach: he likes the kid a lot. I mean, the guy offered to take Matt out for him. Kate: he's not sure about her. She's a bit of a do-goody Charles-worshipper. Her power is useful though and she's interesting. Peter: little stinker, but he's growing on him. Kitty: another Charles-worshipper, but also seems interesting.
Their little sidetracked convo made him think Matt might have interesting thoughts, but now he thinks Matt is giving Charles drugs and is considering whether he needs to spank him again.
Little Lissa is adorable and Christine loves her as an auntie should. She feels super protective over her and wants to do whatever she can to help Pasha and Ben with her if they feel they need help or a break. Chris loves singing her lullabies and she's kicking her maternal instincts into high gear. The way Chris acts with people is usually somewhat maternal in nature to begin with because it comes from being a nurse and wanting to look after everybody, but now it's really coming through.
She doesn't really have dreams for the world in general. Starfleet promotes peaceful exploration and the expansion of knowledge throughout the galaxy and she believes in that too. As for her own dreams, (THIS WAS THE INITIAL PLAN:) she wants to go back to medical school to become a doctor someday. After she gets settled in her career, then she'll think about settling down and having kids. But then she met Dean and, well, she'll make those doctor dreams come true someday, but right now her dream is finding him again.
He's still in a stage of trying to adjust to it and accept it as his. He's been raised all his life to be this one thing and here he is, not really much of that thing at all anymore. No king, no name and cause to defend and give himself to, no clear path ahead of him....
It's a bit of a scary thing, really, all that. He's got good things, but he feels adrift and without anchor often. Especially now. He doesn't feel like he can really help people at all as he is. He's coming to the realization that it's not a matter of not knowing how to function without some sort of clear definition to his life, it's a matter of simply not being happy living that way. He gets restless and scattered.
He likes Niflhiem itself just fine, though, and has no quarrel with making it his home. He has no problem with Nysgods in general and he's holding Tristan to that promise of a good job when all's said and done.
Christine is rather open to them. I had her in another game before here and she came in here with those memories intact so she's used to both 20th century medicine and magic being used in healing. She learned 20th century medical practices and can even assist in surgery using those types of tools. Plus Ming will be showing her how to use magic in healing herself so suffice to say, she'll do anything as long as it helps someone get better.
That said, the medbay on the ship here is woefully lacking. The Enterprise is state of the art and she wishes there was more on the Egime like it. She does appreciate the beds that can do x-rays, though.
