Brother from another mother!

We've already discussed this, but Bert is the closest thing Robb could consider family here (besides Talisa of course). He really would be devastated if something bad happened to him. Consequently, Robb considers Bert's thoughts/opinions in high regard.

Love at first sight! Well, in a manner of speaking. Helena always thought Zoey was intelligent and funny from their first encounter. Zoey was reading a book, that couldn't possibly have gone wrong. And, well, now Helena is more than happy that they have a chance to be happy together. Even if Dorian nearly had an aneurism trying to get them both to admit their feelings to each other.

Clarification: Matthew means this more then one way. Joshua should have never been a part of Selene's timeline and since he doesn't really understand what he did for her, or how Selene feels about him.

Generally, he's grateful for her attention and her time and currently, well, currently he's sour in a number of ways and is a little disappointed in the perceived lack of pride on her species part and doesn't care if she knows it.

Um, basically 'everything Bert has been looking for in a non-romantic sense'. Robb is the kind of man Bert always thought he'd be the right hand of, when he grew up. He considers Robb his brother, and there is very, very little that Bert wouldn't do for him.
