Hi guys. You have no idea how much I hate doing this, but I am dropping Steve here at ToS. Steve is a character who requires almost constant interaction with the people and happenings in game and with my limited time I just feel like I'm not doing him justice here.

I always feel two weeks behind and as amazing as everyone has been with backtags, it's frustrating for me when I feel like I'm holding people up. More than that, I'm holding Steve back. I've thought about cutting back on things in game, but ultimately I feel that would be too OOC. And I admit that limited time has affected some things that I think he ICly would've been more active in before.

This is such a fantastic game with so many amazing players. And oh my God. The castmates I have here are more than I could ever ask for. If things change and I feel like I have the time he deserves I will be back in a heartbeat, but as it is I'm wearing myself out trying to keep up.

Thanks for being so welcoming and inclusive in my time here. You have all been so awesome.

Did I say party? I meant WORK REALLY HARD AT SCIENCE.

So sometime after Skokan's visit on Day 230, Spock is going to have enough of this sitting around business and start contacting anyone he's ever met that seemed interested in participating in doing all things science.

IC, what's going to happen is that Spock will send out a private network blast to those he thinks would be interested, and ask for ideas on what they could be doing to improve not only the technology they have access to, but ways to observe and experiment on their surroundings such that hey, maybe one day they can get out of here. Then, he'll actually host the real science get-together the day after.

OOC, if you want your character involved in this, just sign up below. If your character hasn't met Spock yet, we'll fix it. If your character doesn't know how to science but wants to science? We'll do it. Just know that once you get Spock science-ing -- it usually turns into a science all-nighter (*cough* sleepover *cough*), and who doesn't want that?

I'm doing this mostly because (1) we have amazingly talented characters here who would under normal circumstances be able to build us all time/space machines, and (2) to be IC, I really need to give Spock (and perhaps some of your characters too) a way to be a workaholic.

What will be the result of this science-a-thon? THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS. Or so I keep telling myself.

Hello there! I come bearing...a gift? My name is Teresa and I am a total newbie to this game although Wizera has been quietly tempting me to join with this guy for a long time now. Having recently found a bit of free time I decided to give it a go.

Who is this guy, do you ask? Well, that would be Eric Northman, of that stupid sexy vampires show HBO True Blood fame. He is a stupid sexy vampire a 1000+ year-old, megalomaniac, vampire viking king, and for those of you who know the show, he's coming to you just before season 4 aka that season where he gets cursed out of his memories and shit starts to hit the fan. For those of you that know the canon, I take him predominantly from the TV series (mostly bc I love his relationship with Godric and Pam so much more in it), but do embellish from the books occasionally where the show doesn't necessarily fill details in. Which comes on the topic of True Blood Vampirism. Because he's basically a vampire powerhouse and I like to tl;dr about it, here, have a permissions post. Please, if/when you get a chance, hit that up and let me know what of his powers would work on your character(s).
