[ On a list of things she'd expected to happen to her, finding herself in a room - that by the look of it had been hit by a bomb - was not very high up there. It's hard to be surprised though, considering how crazy her life has become these days.

Still, despite the welcome sight of a familiar face, there's nothing but anger in her voice as she responds. ]

What on earth is going on here?

[And Dean Winchester is going through the cabinets. Why? Because that's where the alcohol lives.

He's tired and hungover, and he wants to either sleep or feel no pain, and alcohol should accomplish that nicely. He knows there's a ton of it somewhere.

He just needs to find it.]

[ Which is all well and good for Dean Winchester, but that doesn't do much to help Anna Milton, who's a little busy wondering how exactly someone goes from Heaven to...kitchen, in 0.4 seconds.

At least that's the plan, involving a lot of confused, blank staring at the wall, but it lasts all of a minute before Dean's banging around in cabinets. She's shocked, sure, but to her credit she keeps that under control in favour of a clipped response. ]

They are the only ones who can get up here without using stairs. Or get down.

There's something to be said for waking up in a weird place being unable to summon demons. But at least they have a well-stocked kitchen. He hasn't had a proper meal since before the Conception.

Standing in the kitchen boiling dashi on the stove and cutting scallions was damn near killing him. It wasn't tedious, but... Both his parents were cooks. He hadn't thought about them in a long time. Were they still roaming the Vortex? Or had their Magatsuhi gone into summoning one of the gods that had driven his friends insane?

He took a deep breath and kept going. He was a demon now, right? All demon, nothing human left in him? So why did it hurt so bad?

All that booze in the fridge was starting to sound appealing.

Nor mine.

[Were Sif to kill one of these creatures, she most certainly would have had mind enough to ensure that a body couldn't be discovered. Particularly not in her makeshift dwelling.]

I cannot imagine any candidate foolish enough to commit a murder and then leave the body rife with evidence, for all to see.

She's not sure who did it, or who they expect to care for all the little furballs, but she figures she can watch them for a little while. She has one in her hands and is stroking the top of its soft head with her nose when she spots someone at the door.

Someone she doesn't recognize, in fact.]
