[Truly, she is one of the very last people that Sif would have expected to see pulled as a candidate. Not that she is unworthy to be chosen -- quite the contrary. Jane Foster has already enamored herself to the prince of one nation of gods. Courtesy enough should have dictated that Thor's mortal be left alone.]

So any feelings she may have at coming across the body of a male Nysgod in the shared kitchen are rooted in frustration. Murder is nearly unheard of in this world, and surely all candidates will pay for the mistake of one.]
