[Well, this was just fantastic.

Cordelia had had her doubts about participating in a harvest festival that required everyone be naked, but the rest had sounded like fun and anyway, it isn't like she's ashamed of her body. It's all well and good until some drunken idiot gouges her side with a pitchfork.

She dodges into the nearby tavern and grabs a bottle from behind the tavern to pour on her new wounds. Apparently the tender is out celebrating, as no one is around to help her out or take money for the liquor.]

[Celena had gone to the festival because she was curious, but when the noise and the crowd got to be too much, and she wasn't even certain how to get back to the dorms, she ducked in to the empty tavern and hid behind the bar.

The sound of rapid footsteps makes her tense up, and she looks up when the bottle is snatched up -- by a woman. Oh. Celena recognizes her. She's friendly.

But all that thought accomplishes is to make her relax a little. After all, she doesn't want to be a bother.]
