It was probably uncouth to be bleeding all over the kitchen, but then again, to a vampire, blood was food, so it was all the same really.

Jill'd seen plenty of blood. On the news, in person... it was a fact of life when bombs were going off on every corner.

That didn't mean she wasn't surprised to find a bleeding man in the kitchen. Only that she wasn't fazed.

"Oh, Christ." She dropped to a knee in front of him, took a cursory look at his wounds, tried to establish eye contact. "Hey -- buddy. Can you hear me?"
