Okay, fine, he'd live. So in the meantime, there wasn't much point in seeking medical attention. What seemed much more reasonable was to self-mediate, and that's what Spike was doing. It would have been easier to ignore the injury if he hadn't been bleeding all over the bed, but hey. Some sacrifices had to be made.

The Doctor would likewise live, though he was decidedly less scuffed up than Spike was. Certainly not enough to be bleeding all over anything.

He walked into the communal bedroom with his usual springy step, though he didn't look at all pleased, and threw himself down on a cushion.

"Well, that was an absolute mess."
