“It’s a hard life, being an alcohol addicted kitten. And then they grow up to be the accessory of a Bond villain.”

The bartender comes by, refilling her drink before Zoey can say anything. Leaving her staring at a full glass of bubblegum pink alcohol. Son of a... She sighs and takes a drink. Why the fuck not? It’s not like she’s going to be any less horny any time soon, anyway. And, side effects aside, it’s rather tasty.

She glances at him sideways with a smirk. “Machismo couldn’t handle being beaten by a girl?” Figuring that she might as well have a little fun, she slides closer. “I’d go gentle on you.” Tilting her head and studying the man beside her thoughtfully she adds, “Although I suspect you’d acquit yourself nicely.”

Actually, she suspects there’s far more to him than meets the eye. She can’t say WHAT, or WHY... but the suspicion is there none-the-less.

"Tragic, really. Somebody oughtta start a non-profit."

He gives her drink a curious look - bubblegum pink alcohol looks like his kind of thing, to be honest - but doesn't say anything. There's no point in him drinking anyway, given that it'd take a whole liquor store to have an effect on him.

"Oh, I can just about handle myself. Nothing special, though." There's a hint of a smirk there, but given that she wouldn't know he'd ever been a soldier, it might not be evident why that's amusing at all. "So if you'd hypothetically go easy and not beat me too badly, I'd be real grateful."
