Greetings and salutations, everyone! This is Megan, owner of one mint condition Chell and one slightly gnawed on Christine Chapel, trying this third character thing again. And it's even a Once Upon a Time character too! Except it's someone new, who I've barely ever played before oh god help me what am i doing. This is pirate captain Killian Jones, but perhaps you know him by his more colorful moniker: Captain Hook.

Of course his story is retooled and retold and being that this is a currently airing canon, some facts may just get retconned and screw me all up (like it did when I played Red/Ruby here) but the facts are that his nemesis the crocodile is actually Rumplestilskin (who killed his true love), he probably lived in Neverland for around three hundred years, and Peter Pan just might be some child abducting all-powerful weirdo who may or may not be the villain in season 3. Hook is from the season 2 finale, and IDEK what his relationship with Peter is, so I'd love it if we could gloss over that in threads for the time being?

And did I mention he ripped out Aurora's heart with his hook? She'll be so pleased to see him, I'm sure.

Anyway, I apologize for the tl;dr. If you got through it all, you can have a skull and crossbones shaped cookie.

True. I'm super eager to see what they do with Peter. Peter Pan is one of my all time favorite fairy tales. (The Barrie version... not the Disney version.) I am trying to reserve judgement, but I suspect it'll be difficult to see Peter in the version they seem to want to show us.

And no worries. I won't be bringing him in. Aside from the fact that I never looked too closely at the age restrictions for characters, he doesn't fit into games so well. Unless his powers are taken away and suddenly he grows up, he pretty much adapts and causes trouble.

Yeah, it's always tough when your faves are revamped. I have liked what they've done with the characters so far, even if some of the storylines are weak or over the top.

I like the show, but I do feel like a lot of the characters are expanded Disney verse rather than expanded Fairy Tale verse. Hook has really grown on me!
