When he finally spoke, it was with a tremulous voice that got stronger as the speech went on:

"Thou Sun, said I, faire Light,
And thou enlight'nd Earth, so fresh and gay,
Ye Hills and Dales, ye Rivers, Woods, and Plaines,

His eyes roamed over her face, and he touched her hair, softly, fingers trailing over stray strands until his hand circled around to her face. His fingertips trembled at her lips.
