Sarah Jane had been looking everywhere for a good hour, but then sighed with defeat when she stepped into the the theater where she saw the warrior woman looking intently at something.
"Hello there, is everything alright?" She didn't want to think she had lost her cat, but perhaps she really had this time.
I'M 98% SURE I'LL APP LEELA
Hearing someone speak to her, Leela looked up at the other woman. "I had just been bored by this...talking picture, then this little creature seemed to have just appeared." Looking down at the creature again. She wasn't exactly certain what to do with the creature. "Do you know where it came from?"
YYYYYYYYYYYES~
She scoops up the fluffy cat and hugs it close to her chest, "Thank you for finding her!" She pulls away watching the small thing struggle to get out of her arms, "Now really, you're spoiling everything."
Turning back to Leela, "I'm sorry for disturbing you and your film." She glanced over to the screen, pausing to really see what was playing.

"Oh, you're welcome." Leela blinked slightly given she hadn't really done anything except sit there and get bored. The cat just found her, apparently. But hey, at least cat and owner were reunited now.
"You are not disturbing anything. I am finding this talking picture incredibly silly and uninteresting. I was going to get up and find something else to do."

Quickly her expression changed and she broke out in laughter, "I would be finding something else to do as well!" Although she couldn't help but think the irony that her cat ran into the cinema where a film was playing about twine. How appropriate for a cat!
"Are you cold? You're dressed for warm weather!"

"No, I am fine. These are the clothes I always wear. Unless the Doctor makes me wear something else for whatever reason." Those Victorian dresses were incredibly stuffy and certainly not fit for a warrior of the Sevateem!

"You traveled with the Doctor!? He's my friend too. Blimey how many people does he know...?" It really shouldn't surprise her, given he travels through time and space.
"Did you just wake up here?" Sarah pet the white kitty trying to comfort it as she glanced over to Leela.

"I did, it was odd. I have never felt so disoriented before." It had been a frightening experience given Leela hadn't known what was going on. "I do not trust what these people say, though. And then giving us some device to use to communicate, that I do not trust." Suffice it to say, Leela did not have her ear bud in currently. For that matter, did she even still have the ear bud on her or had she left it somewhere?
[OOC: Do bear with me, I'm not entirely sure what her canon point shall be. Buuut for the purposes of this thread I'm just going to go with somewhere in "The Invasion of Time."]

Sarah had grown so accustomed to the ear pieces, that she didn't even notice Leela not wearing hers. "Many don't trust it, so you're not alone. Infact, it might be part of the reason why we're here now and not at the Temple where I originally arrived at."
"But they know if you have it out. And there's some people here who don't speak English with it gone. It's like the TARDIS in that aspect - it translates for you."
Sarah pauses, "About the Doctor..." She looks away from the cat and focuses on her, "He's changed; his face is changed here. A regeneration where he's died but cheats death by changing his body. I've seen him do it once before and he's done it again sometimes after leaving us... Or tell me, did he wear a scarf and offer jelly babies to you?"

"How did you meet the Doctor?" And thus would begin Leela asking questions. She tended to have questions a lot, but she liked to learn things she didn't know. Unless they related to technology, then it was just complicated and she'd rather not learn about it.
"What do you mean? You arrived at a Temple instead of this city?" Clearly things happened here and Leela hadn't heard about any of that.
Though as Sarah spoke about the Doctor, Leela grew confused, a look that feel across her face and deepened the more Sarah spoke. "I do not understand, how can he cheat death? I know he is a Time Lord, but he never mentioned anything about him cheating death by changing his body." That sounded like a headache and a half for her to understand, but Leela would attempt to because the Doctor was her friend. "Yes, he did have a scarf and offered jelly babies!" Leela was a bit excitable at this that Sarah seemed to have known the same version of the Doctor she had.

"I thought that was the end of him, but then, he collapsed, his face glowed and then changed before my eyes into the man you and I know." She was far too animated as she spoke, and her voice had risen an octave, but this was the first time she had really talked to anyone about it.
"And now there's two of him here - a tall thin one with brown spikey hair, and one that's also tall but a bit of a klutz." She nodded with a small smile. It was the best way to describe him!

"That is a noble way to die, saving another from harm. Though it is curious how he is able to cheat death in such a way." Of course, there was much to the Doctor that perplexed Leela. This was certainly not a new thing to try and understand. Though at least Sarah put it in plain terms. It wasn't some overly technical explanation Leela didn't understand. And it wasn't that Leela wasn't intelligent because she was, she just came from what many would call a primitive people. She had a more simplistic understanding of things. But her travels with the Doctor had opened her mind to new experiences to broaden her understanding of the universe.
"There are two? How can there be two of him here at once?" Again, Leela's brow furrowed in confusion. That didn't make any sense. It couldn't be a clone situation like when Leela and the Doctor had first met K-9 because the two Sarah described looked different.

"This place has pulled people from all over the universe and time, I don't think the Doctors have even figured it out themselves, it's that complicated."
She frowns, but understands there not much they could do about it.

"This place is really odd. Where are you from?" Leela was genuinely curious. And no doubt Sarah's response to that would be more understandable than talking about intricate Time Lord things. And really, she did think Time Lord technology was silly. She still sort of thought the science behind the TARDIS being bigger on the inside was silly.
