Leonard huffed, giving the fluffy white creature a jaundiced look before moving off to find anyone who knew where the hell this was, and why the hell he was there, and would they kindly unscramble communications so he could be beamed back to where he belonged, thank you?

"Yes?"
no subject
"You won't find a way out."

He has manners! He just doesn't have time to be too polite. He wasn't the diplomat, like Jim was. Best to be blunt when he needed answers and frankly, he was getting more questions than answers.
no subject
While the Enterprise may respect that bluntness others might not take well to it. She was aware that being in this place caused more questions than someone would like.
no subject
He wasn't too sure about the whole gods thing, but it wouldn't be very wise if he discounted that entirely before finding out all he could.

"Why are you following me?"
Simple, and to the point, as is his MO.
no subject
"Maybe I'm enjoying taking in the view."
no subject
Grumpy, paranoid, and oh so dry. McCoy had little time, and he wasn't in the mood to idle chitchat when death surrounded them.
no subject
Oh. No. You did not give her a disease and danger speech in a southern accent. No. She's torn between such sharp hope she can't breathe and laughing so hard she falls over.
Jane cocks her head and goes to give the glass a light tap.
"I don't know. These tunnels are supposed to be pretty safe."
no subject
He cocked his head, looking her over.

She pauses and blinks first and Leonard then at the kitten.
"You look both cranky and a bit confused." She grins slightly. "Cute friend."
no subject
"That cat is still following me? I think it knows I'm not fond of them. Contrary creatures."
no subject
"Not a toy," she chastises the small creature. "I'm not one of the natives. They call it Gebo."

"This is their way of making sure we don't have enough time to get into trouble." She rolls her eyes slightly.
"They picked really crappy jobs for us. I failed arts and crafts," she deadpans the last part.
no subject
Don't mind the sarcasm, it isn't aimed at you, but at the situation at large. He's being very dyspeptic at the moment, hour, day, year, forever actually.

"Doctor McCoy."
There was still a few meters in between them in the narrow sea tunnel connecting two buildings. But Spock stood, arms behind his back, head slightly tilted and brow arched, just like the last time Bones saw him. Except he was wearing what looked like a worker's uniform.
no subject
"Spock." An eyebrow, arms crossed over his chest.
no subject
Seeing Bones's defense posture came almost as a welcome confirmation of his authenticity.
"I would state that 'it is good to see you' here, but the statement seems inappropriate in our situation." The situation of being kidnapped, that is.
no subject
"Quite, though a familiar face is reassuring on one hand, not so much on the other."
no subject
He looked up suddenly, finally noticing someone else in the hallway, witness to his pajama bottoms and bare chest, kitten talk, and general uncaptainly behavior. Well, fine. He was man enough to admit when he'd been caught out. He cleared his throat, but did not put the kitten down.
"Excuse me," he said. "I thought she'd been lost."
no subject
Now that was delivered in a familiar drawl that Jim would recall, except he was just a bit younger and dressed a slightly different style of Science Blue.
