Mako Mori - Pacific Rim

She's a little surprised to find herself under water, and not in a Conn-Pod. She's also surprised to be somewhere that wasn't Hong Kong, and that there wasn't any fear of having so much exposure to the water.

Mako is calm, as she tries to find someone who knows what is going on, for it wouldn't be a good idea to have a meltdown just yet. Not until she found out where she was, why she was here, and where Raleigh was.

Funny. He's right behind you in the tunnel that connects the Barracks staring like he's seeing a ghost. Staring because words aren't coming.

Staring because in the few snatches of sleep he'd managed since she'd vanished, he'd dreamed of this. And every time she turned to face him with a look of such fierce hatred and disappointment he forgot how to breathe and woke up shaking.

It was almost a sixth sense, prompting Mako to turn around, and stop dead in her tracks. Raleigh was here? And he looked even worse than when they first met.

She was slow, her feet a little rooted to the ground before she moves even faster, arms wide to hug him. She wasn't this demonstrative, but Raleigh was here, and he needed her, and she needed him, and they can figure out this entire situation, together.
