"Yes," Erin laughs softly scooping it up. The kitten bats at her hair.

"Not a toy," she chastises the small creature. "I'm not one of the natives. They call it Gebo."

"Gebo. I was told it was a punishment." He snorted, trying to not show amusement at the cat's actions.

"Yeah. When I showed up they were keeping us at a temple. The others had plans in the works to... try and get information so we could leave. There was an incident," Erin shrugs.

"This is their way of making sure we don't have enough time to get into trouble." She rolls her eyes slightly.

"They picked really crappy jobs for us. I failed arts and crafts," she deadpans the last part.

"How delightful," Bones drawled, his his mouth a straight line. "That sounds like the perfect vacation, if one was inclined to believe being kidnapped and put to busy work was a vacation."

Don't mind the sarcasm, it isn't aimed at you, but at the situation at large. He's being very dyspeptic at the moment, hour, day, year, forever actually.

"Oh I don't know... it could be worse," she said in a cheerful but totally sarcastic tone. "They could completely forget that some of the people they've kidnapped have different psychological needs given they've been pulling people from different time periods on top of different planets."

She sighs trying to keep the kitten from yanking at her hair. "Sorry. Info dumping wasn't my intention. You may have already heard this anyways."

He rubbed his forehead, sighing. "And that is the main reason my world developed the Prime Directive. To not interfere with any civilization on a whole or individual basis that has not achieved warp drive capability."

He nods. "I appreciate the information, and the fact that it's been collaborated, is making it a little easier to bear. Distressing, but at least I'm not hallucinating."

"Which is smart," Erin agrees. "Mine doesn't have that yet.... We're sort of the country bumpkins of the galactic community in my reality. It's not a bad thing just horribly inconvenient at times."

Erin quirks a faint grin. "I would hope you would have more exciting hallucinations than this. This is a bit.... mundane. I come from a mostly aquatic community. This is a bit normal, just without the Greco-Roman influences I'm used to seeing."
