Sir Logan Foxwood | D&D Original Character
Of a much more innocent time. He smiles to himself. It is rather nice to be able to think back to much less complicated times.
He is all for just enjoying everything when there is a sudden sharp pain. What is going on?
There is mocking haunting laughter echoing in the hall way and Sir Logan ends up on one knee clutching his side. He very rarely swears and desires to do so right now as he holds the injury.
"Come on out, you curr! I will not let thine cowardice go unanswered," the Paladin growls. He is positive he can hear the laughter bouncing off the walls. He will not be able to track them. He also is unsure if he has the strength of will to use some of the powers being a Paladin grants him as he is both very angry and unsure how safe he is.

“I suspect they’re long gone by now,” she tells him, closing more of the distance between them, but still far enough away to avoid an attack. “Let me help you.”
no subject
If something tries to attack he wants to be able to fight back. He looks at Zoey then at his blade before slipping it back into it's sheath. He has no intention of frightening someone who is here to help him.
"I hope mine yelling did not frighten thee. I am most.... vexed at the curr who attacked me."
no subject
She raises an eyebrow at him, an amused smile flickering across her face as she kneels beside him. “It takes far more than that to frighten me.” It was adorable that he was concerned about it, though. She reaches out for his injury, all business. “Let me take a look.” She doesn’t have much in the way of medical supplies with her, but she’s damn good at improvisation.
no subject
It allows him to defend his allies and charges better.
"Aye but it is not good manners to frighten someone," he supplies moving to lift his tunic for her to get a look.
He does not wince at the sight of his own blood. He has fought in a war and has battled monsters. Still the wound is bad and under normal circumstances would need stitches.
"It is not as bad as it looks. Do not let this worry thee. Doth thou have a cloth to clean it with first?" He likes to clean before he uses his extra abilities.
no subject
She frowns thoughtfully, studying his injury. “I’ve seen worse,” she murmurs absently, more focused on the task at hand than what she’s saying. She’s HAD much worse, for that matter. In answer to his question, she reaches for her boot, pulling a small dagger free. Thank fuck she’s wearing a skirt. She has plenty of extraneous material to work with. Using her dagger she cuts the fabric, coming away with a swath of it and making her skirt a handful of inches shorter.
Looking up at him, she grins. “I do now.”
no subject
"My lady..." He gives her a slightly embarrassed look. He also knew that women like their clothes weather they were leggings, armor, or dresses. "Thou could have cut mine. It is already stained. I would not like to think that thou hast sacrificed a..."
Not a dress. "Skirt thou favors."
no subject
She’s leaning forward then, turning her attention to cleaning his injury. “It’s just fabric. Just cloth. And it was needed. So it was done.”
no subject
He even had decided that the Jedi are some sort of order of Holy Knight of a different vein from Paladins like himself. He had heard tale of Paladins who followed a code of conduct but knew of no god or goddess who granted their power.
"I prithee lady, how doth thou know I art a Paladin?"
no subject
no subject
"Ah. Thou art a sorceress, then?"
He acts as if it is nothing. "Then what I art about to do will not trouble thee. Good. I would be unhappy if it made thee uncomfortable. I trry to avoid such things."
He places his hand over the cleaned cut. Something about his hand seems to glow. Most of the wound is sealed up by the time he pulls his hand away.
"Alas, the wound was longer and deeper than I can heal in one day. It will be better on the marrow."
no subject
The moment was peaceful, swaying slightly to let the hem of her white dress brush against her thighs. For safety her feet were shod with boots and a black leather jacket kept the chill away.
But then the tranquility is broken when someone further down the tunnel starts yelling. She looks over at the stranger and the Enterprise is certain he is a complete stranger to her. It doesn't mean she'll ignore him. No, in fact, she leaves her chosen spot to venture closer. "Are you alright?"
no subject
"I am wounded but not so bad for us to need a... doctor?" The word is unfamilar to him. Science is still as mysterious as magic to the young Paladin. He thinks they are just really weird wizards who use different sorts of words.
"But I fear that the curr who stabbed me may be near. Take care, my lady. I would not like to see thee hurt."
no subject
"A doctor might disagree with you. Can I see the wound?" While the Enterprise was not a doctor - not in the way that others studied medicine, she would be able to tell if it was indeed in need of treatment.
"Let's hope that whoever it was doesn't take an interest in me, then."
no subject
Today was supposed to be a rest day for him.
"I do not believe it is overly deep," he confesses. "I was... distracted by the attack. I may be able to heal some of the damage here."
A lay on hands should bring him up most of the way back to being perfectly healthy. He just was a bit shy of using it in front of someone who might not understand that he is a Paladin,
no subject
"It appears shallow. None of your organs would have been punctured."
His mention of being able to heal it have her eyes flicking up to his face. While science was dominant in her universe, there were quite a few things they might not be able to explain. Things that others would call magic.
"No need to hold back on my account. I'd be very interested in seeing your method of healing," she says with a deep-seeded curiosity.
no subject
At her words he nods.
"I doth not desire to make others uncomfortable." He inclines his head politely. "I thank thee for thine direct words."
He moves his hand which seems to light up over the wound. It closes up for the most part. It still looks like it will need a bandage as it is still bleeding a bit and is not entirely closed up.
"It wast deeper than mine art could heal. Tis not such a.... as you may say, a big deal. A bandage should fix the rest."
no subject
She watches the healing process with rapt fascination, shifting so as to get a better look at the wound closing instead of just a glowing light covered by his hand. The Enterprise's entire face lights up when it's over. "Amazing! I've never seen anything like it before." As much as she wants to question how it's done, she will help him attend to what remains of his wound.
Her eyes shift up to his face. "You're in luck as I happen to be carrying around this." With one hand she reaches into the jacket pocket and pulls out a large bandage. "I find I'm not entirely steady on my legs." So one may collapse beneath her and her knees are then scraped.

While some of his companions irritated them he found he truly did enjoy their company. He would never admit that that bard would get far too smug. A very cheerful and smug Dwarf is a thing to be avoided Logan had decided. He did not want ale spilled on his boots again.
Logan is a bit of a neat freak. Having things spilled on him irritates him more quickly than the young wizard asking questions about women.
"Thou should take care not to hurt thine self," Logan said with a faint smile working back onto his face. "I would hate to see thee hurting."
As annoyed as he gets with his companions he feels the same way. Seeing them hurt bothers him. Like he failed.

Spock was almost always one to say what he means directly while Bones was fond of his metaphors. Her Captain was a wild card, anywhere between blunt with words to completely mysterious. Sometimes it made her head spin with the various ways people spoke.
"Unfortunately that's not entirely in my control. I'm not quite used to my new legs just yet."
She holds up the bandage. "May I?"
no subject
"Then.... this is a new shape for thee," Logan guesses. "Tis no matter. Thou art a kind lady. I am sure you were just as kind f your... true form."
He moves his hand so she can get to the wound. "As you will, my lady."
no subject
Not unless commanded to by her Captain and her Captain was not the sort to do that. In fact, Kirk often went against the Prime Directive to help people.
She knelt down, pulling apart the wrapper of the bandage. Once it was ready the Enterprise carefully placed it over the wound, pressing down on the edges to ensure that it was stuck. Once done she stood back up. "There. That should help."
no subject
He had never seen a bandage like that before. The fact it sticks to his skin seems like a wonder.
"I thank thee. I did not know bandages did this. Tis a miracle."
no subject
The Enterprise smiled at him.
"One day humans will be able to do with science what you just did with...magic, is it? I'm interested to know about your abilities."
