Leela tried to picture the Doctor with white hair and being older. It was a bit difficult given the Doctor she knew was on the spry side. Though she listened to Sarah tell her tale with great interest.

"That is a noble way to die, saving another from harm. Though it is curious how he is able to cheat death in such a way." Of course, there was much to the Doctor that perplexed Leela. This was certainly not a new thing to try and understand. Though at least Sarah put it in plain terms. It wasn't some overly technical explanation Leela didn't understand. And it wasn't that Leela wasn't intelligent because she was, she just came from what many would call a primitive people. She had a more simplistic understanding of things. But her travels with the Doctor had opened her mind to new experiences to broaden her understanding of the universe.

"There are two? How can there be two of him here at once?" Again, Leela's brow furrowed in confusion. That didn't make any sense. It couldn't be a clone situation like when Leela and the Doctor had first met K-9 because the two Sarah described looked different.

"That's a good question... I'm not really sure, to be honest." Sarah Jane rocked the kitty in her arms, petting under the paw, teasing him.

"This place has pulled people from all over the universe and time, I don't think the Doctors have even figured it out themselves, it's that complicated."

She frowns, but understands there not much they could do about it.

That was an entirely strange situation, really. Leela really didn't understand how two Doctors could be here at the same time. Though she didn't exactly try to figure it out either because that was a concept beyond her and she knew she'd never really understand that.

"This place is really odd. Where are you from?" Leela was genuinely curious. And no doubt Sarah's response to that would be more understandable than talking about intricate Time Lord things. And really, she did think Time Lord technology was silly. She still sort of thought the science behind the TARDIS being bigger on the inside was silly.

"Croydon, by London. You?" She wondered greatly given her dress was quite strange. And then she really wondered her story of meeting him. Sarah Jane's own was investigating disappearances of scientists and found the Doctor there at the conference.

"My planet did not have a name. The Doctor said my people, the Sevateem, were descended from explorers." Really, Leela hadn't paid much attention to that. It had been part of one of the Doctor's many ramblings about this or that. But it was relatively easy to discern Leela was descended from human explorers from Earth, therefore she was from a point in the future.
