July Summary and Announcements

Hi, everyone! Here’s a little month-end wrap. Take the time to read it, as important information will be included here!

Announcements

• We will begin implementing Activity Check starting next month. The A.C. is simple. We'll put up a post, you'll reply with links that demonstrate your character was active. We don't want to put up a required post amount that people scramble to meet, and given the slow pace of this game, we are not going to be strict about the term "active." If you have one prose post that's been ongoing or multiple network posts or a mixture of anywhere inbetween, you should be fine. Sending us a post with two tags over the past month probably won't count as "active", however.
• I am going to be trying to update the days on the network and logs comm on a daily basis. They should reflect which day it is, and whether it is morning, afternon, or evening.
• I'm including a space in here for character events. If something is going on with your character that everyone else should know about, reply here and I'll include it. An example of this is that Cho has been spending most of her time in the library. People would notice that, so that should be included here. Likewise, if your character destroyed the movie screen or is attacking anyone who looks at them funny or has suddenly gained 50 lbs from eating all that yummy paste, people would notice and you can include it here.
• Threads are below for anything you'd like to say to the mods, including things you'd like to see different in the game, plots you are interested in having us run, plots you'd like to run yourself, or NPC interaction you're requesting.

Month End Summary

• After weeks of being gone, everyone has returned from the Dollhouse. Eliot died and returned in the physical condition he was upon his arrival in Dagaz, everyone else escaped unharmed. People returned with information about their interactions with Quinn, though their experiences were varied. A feast has been promised to celebrate everyone's return, and the upcoming ball will give everyone a chance to interact with Prince Tristan. After this, the Nysgods have promised anyone who Tristan doesn't choose can return home.

Character Information

• Cho Takahashi spends nearly all of her time in the library. If you are setting a log in there, either assume she is quietly sitting somewhere in the room or speak to Ophelia if you'd like it to be a time when Cho is bathing or getting food.

Darius has been doing his best to clean up after people, nearly constantly, all day every day. Are there any Nysgod this would have pinged?

We do have Nysgods who come in and clean, but none of them are played NPCs. For the time being, no one will probably respond. If he starts interfering with the cleaners' work, then someone might say something.

Not interfering, just probably doing his best to be useful to them, and if he can borrow any supplies without being a bother, doing that.

Creeper Cho in the library XD love it. Also might be worth noting if you saw her before the dollhouse plot that she's gained about ten pounds, which is a little over 10% of her body weight. So if your character is observant, they might notice she's heavier. It takes way too much of that paste to get the amount of sugar she needs to use the amount of magic she's been using.

Also, once everyone is back from the dollhouse she is making SO MUCH BOOZE out of that stuff.

Eliot's already making it, although he only had the one leftover mead barrel. If you want to handwave them talking about that being a thing (or maybe it'll come up in their log, idk), she can help now that everybody's out.

She's a bit more direct. She's just straight up changing the molecular structure of it into booze.
