Hello all, Anne here with my second character. This is Lady Charlotte Howard, Duchess of Green Park and Queen of the Westminster Hive. She was an OC I created for the game Ad Obscura over on IJ, but the game died almost as soon as it got started. I wanted to actually play her after the time I invested in creating her, so I decided to app her here!
Charlotte is a vampire. The world she comes from is, in part, based on the world Gail Carriger created in The Parasol Protectorate book series but the universe was expanded and altered for the game. So vampires live in "hives" or are roves. Only female vampires can create new vampires, no male vampire has ever successfully created a vampire. So vampires are highly matriarchal in their set up. Charlotte uses this to her advantage. But, of course, she was human once. In fact, she comes from a historically real family, the Howards who have long held the title of the Duchy of Norfolk. Charlotte was born in 1483, the youngest child of Thomas Howard, second Duke of Norfolk and his first wife, Elizabeth Tilney. Though if one looked up family records, Charlotte's name would not be found, all that would be found is "a daughter who died young." Two years after she was born, Richard III, king of England, died at the Battle of Bosworth Field and the Tudors took the throne of England thus ending the War of the Roses. So Charlotte grew up in Tudor England (she's also the aunt of Anne Boleyn as her sister Elizabeth was Anne's mother and consequently great-aunt of Queen Elizabeth I...who would still just be Queen Elizabeth to Charlotte).

At her point of arrival here in ToS, she's coming from the year 1884, so she's Victorian and is currently sitting at a young age of four hundred and one years. She's not the nicest person ever, but as long as people are cordial towards her, she will respond in kind. She does not attack unless she's attacked first or she senses a direct threat towards her or her Hive. Being a vampire, Charlotte does need to feed, but in the time she's from, feeding on random people was prohibited by law (supernaturals have been public knowledge since roughly 1820). In her world there are humans called "drones" which live with the vampires and vampires are allowed to drink from them. So Charlotte won't go around attacking random people, but she will certainly need to find a source of blood.
She's roommates with Gaila and Martha Jones, and she's been assigned to work on clothing stitching (which is a skill she actually has). Whether she works or not is another matter entirely given she's a duchess, she hasn't had to work like a peasant a single day in her life! And yes, she also looks like H.G. Charlotte is also bisexual bordering on pansexual. If something catches her eye, she's likely to try to it!
