6. Slow Dancing ♥ Nothing like music to sweep the rest of the world away, take a few minutes on the dance floor and shake that stress away.

She had been attracted to him before. They could both remember how badly that had failed. Eventually, the relationship had reverted back to friendship. Moving to Gebo had distracted them, but allowed them a chance to work on that friendship. But her feelings hadn't changed, no matter how much she wanted to pretend otherwise.

Even now, at the party she could feel her cheeks warmed as she smiled at him across the way.

It was easy to be attracted to Reinette. They're conversations were lively, most of the time. She reminded him of that era that is long gone and no matter how much L.A gets put around him, he'll still miss it. Angel compares himself to her dresses, mentally dressing himself in the outfit or color that would match. They'd make a smart pair..

So of course, Angel scans the crowd until he finds her, oh - and that bright smile, which he greets with a cheeky one of his own. It would take a few minutes, what with the rest of the bodies in the way, but Angel was making his way over, dark eyes not registering the rest of the group at the moment. The room was too long.

She blushed brightly, looking down as Angel started moving closer. Her heart was beating more quickly, prompted by the desire to be near to him. It was strange how peaceful and safe he made her feel. Her champion had become something more, her guardian angel.

"Enjoying the party?" She asked him softly.

She stood out from the rest of the crowd, shone like a diamond on display and his smirk deepened charmingly. Angel held his hand out for her fingers to drape over and once she does, he kisses her knuckles and keep those dark brown eyes locked on hers.

"Mademoiselle."
