"Oh how I miss the playful feel of the that musical era." He loved music up till the 90's something about bubblegum pop really just sat wrong with him and he gave up on it.

He closed the door once she was inside both hands ruffling his hair, just something he does when hes tired. Padding his way across the room the curtain was drawn back as he lifted the lid of the record player and stepped back so she could take over.

"I was, but it is alright. I would rather spend time with you, then time with my dreams. You are much better company."

"That's a relief." She offers a smile and immediately began setting up her kettle to make some hot water for tea.

"I'm a bit tired myself, but I woke up and couldn't fall back asleep. I didn't think you'd mind too badly, but I'm sorry for waking you up." She offers him a shy smile.

He shook his head in amusement, moving to flop back on the two seater. It was a lazy kind of morning, even if its likely afternoon he didn't care. It is morning to him.

"I vote we take a nap." He spoke from his seat head canted to the side to watch her work with the kettle. Normally he would offer to help but he's tired so he figured if she wanted to make tea she could. "Do not be, as I said. I am more then pleased to have you here. Still, I think a nap sounds lovely." Tired logic said pretty girlfriend was likely warmer then the heated blanket.

She does plug in the kettle, but sets it up to keep the water warm. Cuddling up next to Dorian seemed like a nice idea.

She drags a blanket she had bought with her across the floor to where he is, and then couldn't help to chuckle. "You're so tall, are we going to fit?" She sits next to him, regardless.

Despite being tired he watched her for now. At least they would have the warm water for when they wanted tea.

He shifted an arm to wrap around her as he thought about the question, rubbing at his curls absentmindedly with the other hand. "Being this tall has been a bane for ages. I am used to not exactly fitting anywhere. Well we have two options. We can pull the covers down from the loft and lay on the floor, or we can take your blanket and lie up there. Somehow I doubt the seat will do us much good." hes napped there before with his feet kicked up on his trunk like a coffee table but he just didn't think that would do.

She looks up towards the loft and decides that wasn't their best option. She shakes her head, "Let's take the covers a make a spot here." She offered with a smile.

"We'll be like children camping on the floor!" She has already decided to steal the pillows as extra support for them.

"Mayhaps for you, I never did such things as a child." He pushed up too his feet after planting a soft kiss on her cheek. "My mother would have had a fit had I ever slept outside or on the ground." First born male of a semi-well off family, yep. He was completely spoiled as a boy.

Stretching his arms over his head a moment he walked to the edge of the loft area to push up two steps and just so he could reach up and get a grasp on the covers to pull them off. He had a heated blanket under the thick comforter. So with her blanket they would be toasty too. The pillows were forgotten by him at least as he stepped back off the ladder and moved to pull the two blankets back towards the open area under the loft.

"Still it is a cute idea all the same."

She blushed slightly at the kiss upon the cheek and waited for him to gather his blankets. "You missed out!" She corrected him, "Blanket fortresses are quite nice in the wintertime."

Especially if you're going to cuddle your boyfriend.

"See, these are things I clearly missed out on. What a shame." A tired smile offered her way as he laid the thicker blanket down on the ground first. Looking around for something to make it a little better but shrugged. It would have to do, the heated blanket draped over it and then he motioned her over.

"As the expert, does this fit your approval?" He asked easily, he's totally in it for the snuggles.

"Oh yes! As a first time blanket fort explorer, I think you certainly have earned your badge, Dorian!" She laughs, moving over for him to join her.

Quickly, she wraps the blanket available on the floor around their legs as she looked over with a smile. "This better?" She was resisting the urge to run her hand through his messy mane.

"Will the badge be shiny? I do so love shiny things." His priorities are amazing some days. He smiled tired but brightly at her.

When she motioned him over he spared a moment to kick off the overhead light and turn on the lamp on his desk so it was more dim but not complete darkness. He figured it would be better for her, and as odd as it was in Gebo he could not sleep in light, sleep was actually a lot harder in Gebo then the temple for him. Once he laid down beside her he looked to her and chuckled a bit. "Much better, yes."

Unlike her he was less caring about stopping his impulses, so he wrapped an arm around her middle and snuggled a little close, warm girlfriend was certainly the best.

With a glint in her eye, "Oh, it most certainly will be shiny!" She laughed a bit and then calmed down when he snuggled up against her.

"You are rather cold." She commented, but it didn't bother her too greatly. He seemed rather relaxed and at peace with himself, and... she did too, actually. This felt right.

"Count me in then, I do rather enjoy things of the shiny nature." He replied, keeping close. He could be a bit of a leech for warmth, luckily the heated blanket was on under them, mostly it was under cause it was a fleece kind and he figured it would be more comfortable for her.

"I did mention before I am always cold." He spoke low, his eyes closed as he just let the nice feeling sink in. "I shall warm in a few moments I am sure. Just, do not go yet. I would rather you stay." He was worried his coolness would scare her off. His worry wasn't enough to really make him want to move or do anything about it besides enjoy being beside her.
