Oh, dear. Christine slides her feet in the sand to lower her legs as the kitten is thrust upon her. She accepts the furry little guy and cuddles him close to her cheek, watching Hawkeye pace. Things like this aren't easy to reconcile alongside what's comfortable and known, so she just purses her lips and waits for him to finish.

He's kind of reminding her of Dr McCoy, what with the yelling and needing a drink, and that just makes her miss her boss all the more.

"Eventually you'll have to deal with it, yes," she answers calmly, setting the kitten down in her lap. "The people here are from all different places and times. Some are used to interacting with the wider world, and some aren't. But we're all stuck here in the same situation as you're in now, so it might help if you talk to people and get to know them."
