Jim liked long walks on the beach. It was a cliche, all right, but it was true. He was not, however, walking at this time. No, Captain James T. Kirk was standing on the beach, arms crossed, staring with mute rage at the light show going on as the water moved with a life of its own.

He had a blue banana in his hand. Every so often, he'd take an angry bite, clearly not at all enjoying the experience.

Jim Kirk was angry enough to punch someone. Especially if they happened to show up with a grilled cheese sandwich.
