She puts one hand over his, grasping his wrist. The other goes to her forehead. She hadn't realized she was sweating.

"I was attempting to hide the mortal, Jane Foster." She paused, murmuring, trying to recollect things better. "Malekith. And, one of the Kursed, I think."

His expression hardened. "Thor's mortal." And the Kursed. Weren't they a myth? "Why? Shouldn't my esteemed brother be protecting his own...pet?" Loki spit.

He glanced around, not able to keep all of the frantic worry from his face. She never bought his facades anyway. His voice is softer when he adds "Mother, you need to sit."
