Does she really need to state the obvious?! It's Rose, of course she does.

"And um... How do you know here - " Gesturing around the Wyld. "Isn't full of a whole bunch of somethings that want to eat you?"

Does he really need to state the obvious? Apparently yes and his irritation at having to state the obvious is clear on his face.

"Out in the open, I can see 'em comin'."

That irritation was probably a hint to most people to oh, maybe, stop being such a smartass? Rose wasn't stupid mind, she got the hint she just, promptly ignored it.

"Yeah..." Eyes narrowing. "We're in a place that changes seasons depending on where you're standing." She pauses, as if to allow him to consider that for a moment. "Pretty sure if they can pull that off? Invisible monsters wouldn't be too hard... But then I was around for the shadow-wolf thing." A beat. "They literally appeared out of nowhere."

Daryl gave her a look that said he clearly thought she was full of shit. Crazy was a given, but crazy and full of shit.

"If you can kill it, you can track it."

Everything alive and undead makes noise, has a smell, leaves a trail. You just have to figure out the clues they leave behind.

Wow. Was Daryl in for a rude surprise. She'll take that apology for his look in person or in writing. Whatever works.

"Normally. Sure. But you were kidnapped as part of some creepy arranged marriage lottery. Do you really think that the normal rules apply in this place?"
