It's a power the people of this world have. I was snatched here from the grasp of death myself, brought after I'd fallen in battle. We've been given another chance, and there's plenty others like us.

It's quite the long tale, and a tad bit confusing I'm afraid. There's a prophecy and a coming war and a lonely prince on who's shoulders a great deal rests. It's magic and incredible technology that's brought you here, for reasons no one can ken entirely.
