The Brotherhood of Mutants

Hello everyone! In today's 'Erik, No' news, Erik has been gathering a sort of protoBrotherhood to both keep himself informed and to make sure he has some troops, as it were, should anything happen. He's had a little briefing on some of the issues, including the conflict between Nysgod factions, and one can hardly afford not to be prepared to exploit a kidnapper's weakness if the opportunity presents.

That being said, it's sort of a Disaffected Superhumans Club with Reserve Mutant Army potential at the moment. Current members are Zach, Erin and Mystique, who is also Erik's *ahem* roommate.

The question is: Does anyone else want to be seduced to the Dark Side with cookies?

Tossing this here for future reference, so it doesn't get lost on Plurk.

Lydia could be a decent recruit, what with being a banshee with the ability to predict death and possible danger. She's also a little bit ashamed of her abilities, mostly because she doesn't entirely understand said abilities, which Erik could possibly play on to get her involved. She doesn't usually get involved in big political things, but it could work.

And Draco is Draco, and would make himself available to any plan of Erik's that seemed like a legitimately good idea. He probably wouldn't flat out join up, though. Sort of a temperamental ally who knows enough to be exceedingly dangerous at times.

Not inaccurate. c:

Perf! She also knows Zach and Marion's one of her many werewolf buddies. We can figure something out!

Man. You may end up with both of my girls. Marion would take a bit of coaxing because she really does not like outting herself as Other. She would have to be convinced that even if people make an issue of it that it won't be bad.

Then he would get himself a very useful ally if she doesn't end up joining.

Oh Erik. That is the way to a werewolf's heart. I can see this being a thing once she and Erik do get to talk about her being a werewolf. I like the idea of it happening because she has to tap into her gifts to deal with a thing.... or has an issue.

Joan isn't a mutant... and has no special abilities aside from normal human ones.

HOWEVER!

She is a spy and has been trying to keep up with information gathering. She's also pretty darn good at manipulation and exploiting weakness (if she needs to). Care to think of her as a "consultant" in a way should their paths ever cross?

Joan wouldn't openly be afraid of them, but she doesn't like the situation. Kind of hard not to when she's being thrown into it to such a high extreme and is suddenly no longer near the top of the food chain. (Of course that also has something to do with the fact that she doesn't have her job here...)

As said, Peter could be someone of potential, if Erik can stand being around him more. XD
