Alrighty Kate, how's them feelings on Devi?

Kate thinks that Devi cuts through all the bullshit and pretentious, even the stuff surrounding Kate. It makes her slightly uncomfortable.

Kate likes Matthew. She likes his mannerisms and charms. It's about fifty percent selfishness on her part. Kate likes how she feels around him.

That's fair. She generally makes people uncomfortable this way.
And good. Matthew likes making women feel good about themselves around him.

3. Draco's magic is interesting. It seems more like a tool than a bunch of mystical gibberish. We all know how she feels about usefulness.

2. Lydia reminds Kate somewhat of herself or at least she can see certain traits that she possesses in Lydia. She likes Lydia.

1. Sometimes, she wants to smack Draco upside the back of his head. She is warming up to Draco. He has useful skills after all and he is important to the Professor.
