hi! i am carley, totally new to this game, here with an OC, Noah Miller! i haven't been in a game in...awhile oh god. i'm backtag-friendly and totally cool with being poked about a tag if it's been a little while. i can be found on both plurk and aim at shockvaluecola!

Noah here is a gigantic idiot, has the worst judgment ever, is super gay, and an Actual Puppy. for all that he is not smart, he's got a heart the size of Texas (and he sounds like he's from Texas too, because he mostly grew up there in various places). if you don't actively antagonize him, he will love you. also he can set fires with his mind.

Hi, Carly and welcome to the game! I'm Megan and I play two characters here. I have:

• Nurse Christine Chapel from Star Trek AOS. In essence she's based on the Nurse Chapel of the original series of Star Trek, just placed in her proper place in the rebooted movie series and updated the way the other characters in the new films are. I headcanon some things, while others are based on original Christine or supplemental non canon info released about her.


• Lena Duchannes from The Caster Chronicles, a YA series about witches, Dark and Light magic, and surviving high school. Lena is a powerful Caster who has a Mortal boyfriend and the two get into all sorts of trouble because of course the villains want them dead and the world to be plunged into chaos!

that's cool! I do not remember a lot about her from TOS but that's okay! that seems like an awesome concept!

would that be the book series Beautiful Creatures was based on? i know a little! basically just what was in the movie and that the movie was apparently awful. well, despite being a fire elemental (fire being associated with destruction), noah can definitely get behind the world not being plunged into chaos.

It sure is! That movie just-- ugh. It was okay? And somewhat entertaining, but they just changed so many things and got so much wrong that the story made no logical sense.

One of Lena's more destructive bits of magic is creating fire so he's in good company there!
