AC time once again~
What time is it? That's right! Activity check.
It's real easy: Just comment and link us to proof that your character was active during the month of August. If you feel like rounding up all your monthly activity here for your own benefit - please feel free to do so. We don't need to see everything you've done; one or two places of moderate activity will be fine.
You can use a network or log posts. Activity during the week of AC can count toward AC for either this month or next month but not both.
Of course, we leave the definition of 'active' up to you and if we've got any questions or concerns with your definition, we'll discuss it with you. We're not strict or anything, we just want to make sure no one is squatting.
If you've applied in the last two weeks, don't worry about AC but please do leave a comment so we know you've seen this. You're also exempt from AC if you're on hiatus so long as you have a hiatus post. If AC is posted two days before you post a hiatus notice, it does not make you exempt from AC. If you've got time to put up a hiatus notice, surely you can find time to drop one thread in the comments.
Everyone has one week to respond. (September 8th)
I would like to take this moment to let you all know that a PPP will be put up sometime this week or the begining of next - whenever the details for the upcoming plot are arragned. Please be patient with the mods as it is a large event and we all want to do well by you.
That being said, there are a few things in regards to the setting that I'd like to give a friendly reminder of.
The ship is large and has 3 lifts. One at each end and one in the middle. The water on the ship also runs cold. No hot showers or baths and no shower screens. The ship doesn't care about privacy, apparently.
The Tavern does not have any alcohol but it does sport those nifty machines that churn out the tasteless paste that serves as 'food'.
The Holodeck does not support training rooms - though players are encouraged to repurpose game programs to fit their needs. For example, one could summon polo and instead of playing, simply ride the horses within the confines of the environment.
The mats in the Red Room have been partially destroyed but a few good ones still remain.
There has been a Greenhouse set up - you can talk to Lydia if you have more questions.
A corner of the cargo bay is now holding Bert's mini farm.
There are no windows, nor portholes on the ship - no one can see outside. The Observation Lounge 'windows' are monitors and change once every twelve hours to a new landscape.
Locks attached to doors - magical or otherwise - break/fall off after 5 hours.
As always, if you have any questions, complaints or suggestions - please feel free to ask Arma via message, plurk or email.
