Before he was killed he was out getting drunk. He was grabbed on his drunkan stagger back to the Dothraki about an hour before his death. He'll know Starks and Winterfell, but likely not Robb specifically.

Edit: Sorry, he's more book based. But, at least for his story arc the TV show follows the book closely. The book just has some more detail. So, you're ok.

From what I know about your canon and character my girl Immogen (faux medival Europe based OC; she's a werewolf) is going to absolutely hate him if they get to interact. Partially because she is inherently distrustful of men who try to paint themselves as authority types, and partially because he is going to remind her of her dad like whoa.

Because he tried to marry her off to seal an alliance.
