Player Plot!!
The Trick and Treat Animal Plot
Once upon a time, Tara was practicing some magic in the ship's kitchen. She didn't realize that the large platter of cookies made by Kurt for the Candidates had gotten tainted with her spell. So now when a person comes down for a tasty treat, they also have a chance to become affected by the magic. Eating one or two cookies will cause a person to sprout some animal features like a tail, ears, snout/muzzle/etc, and whatever other anthropomorphic effect. If the person eats more than two then they will fully become an animal. (Type of animal is whatever the player wants it to be.)
The cookies are going to be out for people on 317. The Candidates won't be affected until they wake up the next day. So technically this will last three days (318-320). A person can return to the plate of cookies for more and increase their animal-ness unaware of what they're doing. For the sake of plot and funness, let's not have anyone figure out it's the cookies until 319 at least. 320 the Candidates will be back to normal like nothing ever happened.
Please note that this is a player plot and not connected to metaplot!!
FAQ's:
1) What do the cookies look like?
Kurt made chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and some kind of shortbread with a berry jelly on top.
2) Does my character maintain their mental capacity?
Yes! This doesn't affect their minds. They may have some minor impulses that go along with the animal, but nothing beyond that. (Example, if someone is a cat they might see something dangling and want to bat at it. They aren't possessed to do so, just a light desire.)
3) Is there any way to reverse it?
No. It's just going to go away on its own. You can opt out by simply not having your character eat the cookies.
4) What kind of animals? How do I know what animal my character becomes?
Any animal! Cat, dog, monkey, deer, iguana, etc. Maybe we could try to keep the animals from being too big since the ship is limited in space- so let's limit the number of moose and elephant-people.
5) Are there any physical sensations?
The new tails and ears are part of the person. Just like an arm or any other part of the body, if the tail gets hurt the character feels it!
Did I forget anything? If you have more questions, feel free to post them to the subthread below!

Plotting!
Kurt Hummel
Draco Malfoy / Lydia Martin
Not sure what I'm going to be doing with him. Obviously he should be eating the cookies, but I could go either way.
I'm thinking, if he does, that he'll either go full on ferret again, or else turn into a bird of some form (possibly a jay).
Lydia Martin
Inclined to keep her human, but I'm open to thoughts! She can take care of all the wayward animals.

Get out, NymphadoraRe: Plotting!
Jamie will eat one or two. He's sort of a cat from a whole family of dogs but he could also end up some kind of snake. Something fairly subdued. I'll keep him to the anthro thing (oh crap you have a snake furry walking around) so he'll probably be able to help people out with all the sudden animals. Assuming he can figure out how to work snake-hands.

Could you imagine if Joan took Noah in since she has a puppy herself, only to have him turn back while he's in her room overnight? Because, you know, every girl wants to wake up with her friend's son spontaneously in her room really early in the morning.

Elphie: Is it bad my first thought was to turn her into a frog? Perhaps we'll go with goat features though. Doctor Dillamond was her icon as a schoolchild after all.
Link: And since Link was accepted but I haven't intro'd him yet, it just makes sense that he'll have wolf features if not an actual wolf... provided he eats the cookies.
