Candidate House/Dead Body?

[Sif does not particularly care, one way or the other, about the fate of the Nysgods. They are benevolent, by captor standards -- but they are captors all the same.

So any feelings she may have at coming across the body of a male Nysgod in the shared kitchen are rooted in frustration. Murder is nearly unheard of in this world, and surely all candidates will pay for the mistake of one.]

[Were Sif to kill one of these creatures, she most certainly would have had mind enough to ensure that a body couldn't be discovered. Particularly not in her makeshift dwelling.]

I cannot imagine any candidate foolish enough to commit a murder and then leave the body rife with evidence, for all to see.

On the whole.

[There are a few of whom whose intellect is still in question. From Sif's observations, the woman before her is not one of them.

The dead body of a Nysgod is still only that: a corpse. She has seen thousands. Sif crouches down for a closer look, careful not to touch.]

Claw marks. Or a weapon designed to mimic them.
