ACTIVITY CHECK - JANUARY

Hey, everyone!

Time for our monthly activity check. It's simple: Just comment here and link us to proof that your character was active during the month of January. If this is a good place for you to round up all your monthly activity for your own benefit, feel free to do so. The mods don't need to see everything you've done, though, so one or two places of moderate activity should be fine.

We leave the definition of "active" up to you, you're all smart people. Activity can include network or log posts. If we DO have any questions or argue with your definition of active, we'll discuss the situation with you. Don't worry, we aren't strict, we just want to make sure no one is squatting :)

If you have apped in the last two weeks, don't worry about this, but just leave a note here so we know you saw this. Likewise, anyone on hiatus is exempt, as long as you have a hiatus post.

Everyone has one week to respond to this (February 9th).

I've been somewhat pathetic, semi-hiatused, but Loki in the event, Loki getting panties in a twist, Loki and Cho.

So... Passions of the Nights of Our Lives happened, discussions of foot condoms happened, commentaries on twinning happened, playing dumber than dirt happened, concern over spiders happened (that's legit, man), greeting newcomers happened, recalculations of Christmas happened, hassling NPCs happened, and that actually happened twice...

And I think that's it. Whew. All that, and no tags in the major plot log? The heck is wrong with me sometimes?

DAY 99
- Vector wakes in the shared house, mere hours after his arrival.

- Later that day, he observes during Pasha's Christmas Party.

DAY 100 through 102 (DIY Grasp Event)
- Vector calls out over the network, not too happy that his weapons are missing.

- Vector runs through the city trying to find some suitable replacement for his missing weapons. He runs into some conflict and gets some unexpected help.

- Vector and his new friend Ming Numara hole up in a weapons shop to regroup. They would use this as a safehaven to fall back and strategize through the event.

DAY 102 (post event)
- Vector hears a very sarcastic new arrival over the network and responds.

Elena is brand spankin' new! She arrived on Day 102 and talked to a bunch of people. Unfortunately she found no Matt.

On Day 92, Dean's New Year's shenanigans ended in a long serious talk with his sister, which was followed up by hangover commiseration on Day 93. He also chatted with Pasha about the state of his hangover. On Day 94, he crashed Ben's party to check up on him and see what he was up to.

On Day 96, he ran into a scared woman who had recently arrived in Thurisaz. He took her back to the candidate house and made sure she stayed safe. While she was sleeping, he got called out by his double and they bonded over the misery that is their lives. It was a much more pleasant experience than he had had with the canon!Dean he met in Bete Noire. On Day 98, Maria went looking for a new roommate and Dean offered warnings from wisdom like the mother hen he is. On Day 99, he went to Pasha's Christmas party, and met Aaron, who seemed to be having trouble holding his liquor.

When all hell broke loose on Day 100, Dean rallied his family together to try and save the Serpent's Head from the Moblins. He also rescued Christine from becoming Wendigo dinner on Day 101.

Maria

Day 96

- Maria runs around a lot and meets people she also runs from and ends up fainting in front of Dean Winchester like a 19th century novel heroine.

Day 97

- Maria meets Casey and begins getting her Throne-of-Shadows legs via the network earbud and some info.
- Maria uses her new network skillz to advertise for new rooming because sleeping near a grown man she's not married to isn't proper or right. :| Ends up shacking with Ming and Natasha, whom she meets on...

Day 99

- While languishing and woe-is-me, Maria meets her other roommate Natasha because they're both like no screw your Christmas celebration.

Day 100

- Going for a walk ends up in monsters and war and pulling Red to safety. Walks in Manhattan were never quite so exciting.

Day 102

- Maria gets a little peeved at Sir Edwin for throwing accusations around because she's stressed out from this shit and then dedicates herself to some work because that's what she knows how to do and how to handle the chaos.

Cho was in the fight with a short thread and then has her own log of recovery that's longer.

Bert was all over the end of the world among other things.

So was Ming.

We've got some drunken Angel with his Hunter friend and of course, Double Trouble, Winchester style.

Sif was intro'd this month, helped beat up some chumps, and has also been introducing herself around on transmissions, logs, and the like.
