It's about time for a PPP! What is that, one might ask?

Player Plotting Posts are a good chance for people to plan meetings with other characters, to just get filled in on what's going on with other people in the game, or to figure out player-driven plots with other people.

Respond to this thread with the following information, and be sure to go through and look at other people's posts! Try to respond to one or two characters you haven't had a chance to interact with! It's a great chance for new CR.

About the Character: Um... god-mod h4x inter-dimensional trans-temporal semi-immortal non-human wizard troll asshole who is at least the right-hand and dragon-in-chief for The Source of All Evil (if he's not busy being The Source of All Evil himself). Right now he's engaged in the multiverse's pettiest battle between Good and Evil as he and Bert annoy each other by turns. Super petty.

What I'm Looking For: Do you need a bad guy? Do you need a villain? Do you need someone who will mess up all your character's everything ever? Do you need someone who can do all this and still maintain a charming facade?

Call me.

(Basically, I'm up for anything. I would love for this guy to cause more serious trouble, stress, and strive if possible, but he still wants to play the game that he's just this trustworthy farmboy.)

And, yeah, I think she'd get more than a few creepy images and/or feelings rolling off of him. I mean, that's par for the course (ask Alain...ask lots of people, actually, but he's nearest at hand).

Cool! I can hit an open log (why, the one you just posted, in fact!) happily and easily.

He's trying really hard to keep his thoughts from leaking too much and from letting too much information slip out. One of the NPCs caught him off-guard recently by using an old (a very old, the very oldest) name, so he's been more careful about that kind of thing ever since. (He'd rather not break out the thinking cap if he doesn't have to, thanks, but he will if he must...) But, still, if she were to suddenly call him "Randy" or "Robert" instead of "Rory"? Yeah, he'd be curious, but he'd try not to show it.

ps, those creepy images would be the most creepy too, lmao.

And I just realised that Bert hasn't said ANYTHING to her about the shit that's gone down with Rory so she's going to have no idea of the depth of their... thing. Ahahahaha.

Could do a multiple thread thing on the Room 6 post where he catches her outside the room? And she's exhausted, so she wouldn't be paying as careful attention as she normally does, so she would so call him by a different name than what he's using.

Ooh, yes, whichever name would draw the most attention (because I haven't gotten her into enough trouble yet).

If you have any suggestions for uber creepy images for her to pick up on, I welcome them - it's been a while since I've read Dark Tower stuff/anything else that RF has appeared in, so I could probably use the help. Although I have them on my kindle, so it's an easy enough fix

As for names, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm~ If she called him "Walter," that'd probably flip him out the most. He's knocked around under that name for a bit and it's more overtly different from the usual "R.F." pattern he tends to use. Yeah, go with that. He'll correct her, very patiently, but it'll gnaw at him and make her a target.

IDK, piles of dead corpses being burned? Is that suitably creepy?

Also! Relatedly! Can he pick up bits and pieces and odds and ends from her in return? Because he has been known to do that--in dreams if nothing else, but he's pretty tuned in to picking stuff up and sensing things himself.

Oh yeah, definitely not everything all at once omg infomodding. Because...that's not cool. And that's one of the major things I want to avoid with such a canon overpowered metagaming god-mod.

Admittedly, he'll be suspicious of her because previous experience suggests that someone who does things like suddenly dropping one of his old names into conversation might have some kind of "in" or some kind of knowledge. And he'll consider sensitivities or supernatural abilities in the list of possible explanations because that's well within the realm of his experience. He won't know, but he'll wonder if she has, as they say in his canon, "got the Touch" or something equivalent to that. No certainty, no proof, just (slightly paranoid) speculation and his spider sense (lmao, no, that's the last thing it is) own senses pinging for no clearly discernible reason.

TL;DR: definitely, he won't know she's a seer straight out, but, agh, what the hell is going on? SHIELDS UP!!!

If there's something in particular you want him to pick up on, lemme know! Otherwise, he'll just be generally suspicious.

Tony's dating Pepper, and also trying to figure out the tech here, so there's opportunities to mess with that.

And Sam... Sam's addicted to demon blood, the devil's vessel, and a boatload of residual guilt and shit. And he's got family here to mess with.

I won't lie, Sam's situation is the most tempting of the three, just because, c'mon: demon issues and family in town? Oh, that's like a Flagg magnet. A flaggnet, if you will.

But I can certainly bother the other two--with trolling and general annoying if nothing else. I think for sure I could bother Tony too. Just because, c'mon, there's a woman involve, so that's a good beginning.

For now, I'd love for House and Flagg to continue getting to know each other and being giant trolls because damn it, Flagg knows how to have fun. Eventually tho I'd love if House clued into the fact there's something way darker going on with Flagg, even if he doesn't know exactly what it is.

Hell yeah, he does! Trolling is the second...third...fourth--okay, is a good use of one's time. Trolling is awesome. And he's honestly glad to have encountered more trolls around this place. He's been getting bored. So, yes! Let's do more of that.

And, yes, I do want there to be some leaks or suggestions that there's something darker and worse going on with this guy. He's going to keep on acting charming and funny and lighthearted, which only makes it creepier, of course. But, yeah! That stuff's definitely going to be slipping out.

maria's had an easy time of it so far, methinks. they've very briefly met over the network and maria kept him at a distance through being polite, but i'd be open to them meeting again and having a decent time and him being charming so he can be evil at her at some point. she's never have experienced with anyone "evil," so she's bit of an easy picking. :o

I think they have spoken via Network, which means there's at least that much connection. So they can totally meet again and he can be overwhelmingly charming (he can even dial back the "aw shucks" farmboy routine if he thinks another method will charm her more--that's easy). Ugh, easy pickings are the best~ Yes, this can totally happen. I'll have to scheme what he can do to mess with her, but that's a bit in the future yet, yes? Yes. And, anyway, the messing can be simple or elaborate, connected with larger plots or personalized. There's so many ways and means.

We can totally do this. I want to do this. Let's do this.

yeah, totally! i figured they'd talk and get a bit closer so that his messing with her, whether it's behind the scenes or in her face, can have that extra impact because i'm a hideous person. she's more of a high-class lady, so him being a charming gentleman will definitely set her more at ease than farmboy.
