It's about time for a PPP! What is that, one might ask?

Player Plotting Posts are a good chance for people to plan meetings with other characters, to just get filled in on what's going on with other people in the game, or to figure out player-driven plots with other people.

Respond to this thread with the following information, and be sure to go through and look at other people's posts! Try to respond to one or two characters you haven't had a chance to interact with! It's a great chance for new CR.

Character Name: Vector the black guard!
Canon: Tron: Uprising
About the Character: Vector has been in ToS for about two weeks in game time. :) He's in Room Three (Thurisaz house) along with Ming, Maria, Aurora, Natasha and House.

Vector is really taken with Ming due to her shared background from an energy based environment and being placed in a physical world. He sort of assigned himself as a body guard to her (though he's not hanging out in her shadow all the time. However he considers himself 'on call' so he can run to her if she has need of him). He's also attracted to her but not consciously aware of it due to his inexperience and extreme shyness with social situations. To other characters though it is probably somewhat obvious lol.

Not long after the DIY grasp event, when he was finally able to settle in his shared room, he pulled a smaller bed over to be by the niche that Ming sleeps in and shares with Maria. He is as close as he can get to her alongside the dividing screen - situating himself in a guard position between Ming's sleeping area and the rest of the room. However, he is not impeding Maria and Ming's ability to enter and leave their sleeping space.

The main concern for him right now, is his ability to energize (eat). Eating food that we're familiar with in biological reality is really squicking him and so he's been avoiding it save for a glass of milk or trying to nibble here and there. It's not nearly enough to sustain him and he's weakening steadily as a result. He has mostly been surviving on his own energy reserves, which had been replenished a bit when Ming 'healed' him during the DIY event.

Eventually it will come out with the help of events during Day 110-113 - that Ming will be able to help him with energy deprivation with her magic - effectively 'feeding' him the sustaining energy he needs. However once he gets used to eating real food and getting more of an eating schedule, he won't need to depend on Ming nearly as much (though the energy is his favorite way of energizing due to it being Ming and...it feels really good lol).

What I'm Looking For: More CR!!! :D Though I understand I am still somewhat new as is Vector - he hasn't had a chance to meet everyone in game yet. I know chances will come! <3

Even though he's attracted to Ming - as a program, he has a tendency to be polyamorous (gender also isn't an issue). So if good chemistry happens with other characters I can see casual relationships developing (though I have a feeling Ming will be primary in his feels). However because he is shy when it comes to being social (and not a soldier doing his duty and following orders) - he's not one to be outwardly 'picking up' anyone or going to brothels to sleep around. He's pretty reserved and needs help getting dragged out of his shell a bit ~~coughcoughHOUSEcoughcough~~. It's also why he never really had a lot of relations of this sort where he's from. He tended to be a work-a-holic to cover his incredible shyness. So no, he's not a creeper or thinking with his digital man bits lol. He didn't have a lot of close friends where he's from. Only work, duty and the programs he worked with.

I can see him having fun with combat training with other warrior type characters in the bunch (helping out Sif with her lessons as an example). Also learning various things about the 'World Outside' (of the computer) from various characters sounds fun as well as learning how to let go and not be so reserved and shy emotionally. Exploring human nature and trying to deal with that as a program. As an added thought, the LOLSCIENCE, medics and engineer types might be interested in poking at him and seeing how he works (ask questions, some good old info sharing, examining him and or his disc).

There is a lot of possibilities, and I am always open for other players' ideas too! <3

Oh, Vector. Aurora is a little off-put by him, simply because he's so odd to her, but she also sympathizes a lot because he acts like he's as in over his head by all this new stuff as she often feels. Also she feels bad about that whole nightmare clusterfuck, and also he was nice to her when they talked the first time just after her arrival.

Basically I don't know what we could do with these two oddballs, but I'm totally up for having them hang around and be awkward-turtle buddies together.

Yeeaaah Vector is quite the oddball and out of his element X) He feels sooo horrible about what happened. He doesn't normally lose it like that. He'll be lurking around like a shamed derp for a little bit I'm sure.

Aurora is so adorable. I love how you play her. I think it would be cool for them to be awkward shy turtle buddies together. :D He is actually very warm, protective and can be a good listening ear if she is troubled. His programming gets pinged when someone near him is vulnerable, scared or in trouble. It's his shyness and social awkwardness that tends to hinder him, hiding his deep compassion.

I can see lots of opportunities for them to be adorkable together. Like doing each other's hair or something - and she can teach him how a proper prince acts to a lady. ~~He's 'researching'!~~ I even had the mental image of her trying to teach him how to dance properly once they know each other long enough! XD

Adorkable hanging out would be pretty awesome, truth. Aurora would probably be hiding her face in shame from her roomies for a few days now (and not sleeping again) but I' sure eventually these two will have to/want to talk to each other. I'm sure once she realizes Vector is nothing but a big ol' softy she'll be happy to help him in his 'research'!

Awww! :D Yeah I'm sure they'll get a chance to talk. Vec can't really face anyone right now either. He's been kinda hiding around the city the past couple days! When they get a chance to talk and stuff It will be cool. He feels more horrible about the fact he nearly attacked people he cared for and knew, when in his mind he feels he has to protect them!

Our boys really need to meet.

That they do!! Your chara's from the Hunger Games? I still have to read/see that.

I am sure that Darius can help Vec get into plenty of shennanigans lol!

He is, though he gets about three pages out of the three books. Very minor guy.

Oh man I know that pain. XD I tend to like the characters that have really little material. In Vec's case he was in a couple scenes and he died the same episode. Another character I have had like 2 minutes of screen time before he got offed and it wasn't even a speaking role! Ouch!

Is Darius the one that can't speak? I saw him in Glinda's post. He's pretty adorable and I wanted to hug him. XD

That's the one. He's an ex-soldier turned Avox, which is a voiceless slave caste. Definitely needs hugs.
