ACTIVITY CHECK - FEBRUARY

Hey, everyone!

Time for our monthly activity check. It's simple: Just comment here and link us to proof that your character was active during the month of February. If this is a good place for you to round up all your monthly activity for your own benefit, feel free to do so. The mods don't need to see everything you've done, though, so one or two places of moderate activity should be fine.

We leave the definition of "active" up to you, you're all smart people. Activity can include network or log posts. If we DO have any questions or argue with your definition of active, we'll discuss the situation with you. Don't worry, we aren't strict, we just want to make sure no one is squatting :)

If you have apped in the last two weeks, don't worry about this, but just leave a note here so we know you saw this. Likewise, anyone on hiatus is exempt, as long as you have a hiatus post.

Everyone has one week to respond to this (March 9th).

On Day 107 Elena was affected by the happy chemicals and started to pick herself up a bit from feeling down and out. She met Diana, because collecting vampires is a thing she does, who may have talked her into trying to write skits for a sketch comedy show. Elena will probably wind up doing something completely different, but who knows? As far as she can tell the sky's the limit!

Day 108 rolled around, and Elena was feeling the happy feeling hangover, but that didn't stop her from talking to Sif over the network about possibly starting self-defense classes with her. Because God only knows Elena needs them. She also met Aurora when she arrived, and they got into a conversation about twue luv. Because she is Elena Gilbert and she seems to drawn to tragic love stories like a moth to a flame.

Day 109 was pretty quiet but Day 110 brought a wonderful surprise in the form of Matt Donavan being chosen as a candidate, and more importantly, not being dead. Elena proceeded to become the happiest Elena Gilbert you have ever seen, and proceeded to infect her cheery onto everyone she so happened to meet, up to and including Blaine Anderson, another recent arrival who Elena ran into in the kitchen!

Dean started out his month on Day 103 when Diana alerted him that her blood supply went kaput and she needed to find a new one. This ended in him offering to donate some blood, but only on a short term basis. He also got his ego stroked a lot in conversations he couldn't hear. He also dropped by the clinic to see Christine and make sure she was holding up okay after nearly being Wendigo lunch.

On Day 104 he was brought to the startled realization that Samantha was missing. This was very much Not Good, so Not Good, that he even went so far as to make a deal with Skokan to find the Nysgod that was supposedly kidnapping people. Good times.

There was a few days of nothing until Day 107 hit and he got whammied by the happy drugs. He hung out with Tony and they were stoned together.

Day 108 brought news of a missing Pasha as well as an arrival in the form of Azazel. Dean was not fond of either of these developments, especially the latter. He even went so far as to warn his friends about Azazel's presence and try and stay off the radar. He also was contacted by Skokan to finalize the dates for their little astral projection trip where Dean showed that he truly had the right priorities.

Finally, Day 110 marked Dean, Castiel and House's trip to An-Teng where they went forth in other people's bodies in search of a spy. Also, Dean had boobs. The narration can only hope he will come back with a newfound appreciation for women.

DAY 103

[log] Vector leaves the house to volunteer for city clean up. He comes across an injured woman and fellow candidate.

[network] Vector hears an extremely sarcastic male over the network and responds.

[network] Vector responds to Ming in an effort to comfort, when she makes an announcement over the network.


DAY 104

No posts/network tags for that day. Vector spends most of the day in a deep rest state. He was up and around to support Ming however, when she performed a small memorial ceremony for those that died during the DIY Grasp event.


DAY 105

[log] Vector wanders the candidate house in the quiet hours of the morning, weakened from energy loss.

[log] Later, while out on a walk, Vector nearly bumps into a new arrival.


DAY 106

No logs or network posts! Vector most likely continued with his volunteer work to help the clean up around Thurisaz.


DAY 107 (Valentines single day event!)

[log] Vector runs outside at the sound of a single gong, wondering if something was wrong. The program soon finds himself affected by a mysterious pleasantly smelling pink mist in the air.

[log] While under the influence of the pink mist, Vector comes across Ming in a lovely garden.


DAY 108

[network] Vector hears Sif over the network, interest piqued at the prospect of combat training. He responds to volunteer his assistance.

[network] A new confused sounding arrival makes herself known on the network.


DAY 109

[log] Vector unintentionally gets involved in a panty raid put on by Gregory House.


DAY 110

[log] Vector gets a abrupt wake up call when one of his newest room mates has a nightmare.

Aurora arrived on day 108. After sort of getting her bearings and meeting a few people, she was freaked out a bit by hearing people on her newly-acquired communication device talking about being potentially vulnerable to both attacks and drugs. After that, she befriended fellow new arrival "Bob" who offered to escort her the rest of the way to their new home. Out of the kindness of his heart, we're sure.

On day 109 she was heartily confused by the events of House's panty raid, which left her somewhat ineffectively trailing Chell as they looked for errant underwear, or barring that an explanation, all around the house. Diana later was able to explain to her what happened, and the two bonded somewhat over unexpected things.

And on day 110 she managed to flummox Gaila by announcing she had never before in her life been shopping, and then later that night caused a calamity in her room by mistake when she tried to at last get some sleep and wound by disturbing everyone with the sounds of her nightmares.

Spike

Days 106-7: Spike goes on a quest (with Insa, Zoey and Pasha) to rescue Casey.

Once returned, he discusses sleeping arrangements with Eliot.

Tony

Tony meets his mother. It goes better than expected.

Day 103-4: Log of roommate interaction!

Day 107: Tony is oddly happy.

Sam

Day 109: Sam arrives. In a pile of undies.

Day 103

- Putting in her share of volunteer work, Maria helps out Christine in the clinic by organizing papers.
- Maria agrees to attend Ming's memorial to honor the dead and pay respects.
- Maria responds to Red returning from her canon update and learns a bit about what it's like to go home, that it's possible.

Day 104

- Maria meets Tony again and learns from him about her future: she marries Howard Stark and has Tony as a son. Kinda blows her mind and frightens her, but they get along surprisingly well afterward the initial freak-out. This will be at the back of her mind for a while.

Day 105

- Maria formally meets her roommate Vector while cleaning the kitchen floor in the early morning hours, to clear her head of the bombshell she got yesterday morning.

Day 106

- Sheltered from violence her whole life, Maria's been having nightmares from experiencing the monster attack back on Days 100-102. Ming notices since they share a bed and she brings Maria down for tea and what turns into a religious chat. Maria also learns more about Ming.

Day 108

- Renewed by her chat about faith with Ming, Maria responds to Christine's post about her missing friend and tries to comfort in her way. She also ends up blurting out about her future son because it's been on her mind.
- Dean posts about the new demon in town and Maria responds, wherein they get to talking about family and Dean being a hunter back home.
- Maria mixes up the other Dean with hers.

Day 109

- Maria interrupts House panty-raiding her, and a clueless Vector, and her old-fashioned senses show through. House also gets kicked out of the room. >[

Day 110

- Maria welcomes Dr. Rush with coffee and food and good manners.
- In the evening, while she's out looking for work, Maria meets Tumnus in the public gardens.

Ming has had an exciting month. Among other things.

And Nick is new.

Looking over Sif's activity and my constant thread dropping, I think I need to face facts and admit that while this is an awesome game and you are all lovely people, Sif just isn't a character that fits for me in a game anymore. Rather than character squat, I think it would be best to drop her outright.
