It's about time for a PPP! What is that, one might ask?

Player Plotting Posts are a good chance for people to plan meetings with other characters, to just get filled in on what's going on with other people in the game, or to figure out player-driven plots with other people.

Respond to this thread with the following information, and be sure to go through and look at other people's posts! Try to respond to one or two characters you haven't had a chance to interact with! It's a great chance for new CR.

Remember, the mirror plot is happening now and the gala is coming up. Use this spot to help organize yourself for those events!

Character Name: Diana Abel
Canon: Vampire: The Masquerade
About the Character: The groovy, dippy, flake of a vampire hippie. Friendly as can be. Charming. Occasionally emo. And totally not at all the vampire messiah. She believes in truth, love, and beauty. She won't nom on another person unless they insist. And her bite causes orgasm.
What I'm Looking For: Diana's officially out of the closet as a vampire. She's also the best man at Ben's wedding. This means she's put herself in charge of making sure everyone has fun at the engagement party. She'll be dragging anyone who complains about not wanting to go, kicking and screaming. Meanwhile, she's apparently playing her hand at matchmaker. I'm sure that'll go well.

Character Name: Garmay Zaya
Canon: The Legend of Zelda
About the Character: A waif-like hick from the outskirts of Hylian civilization. Friendly and curious. Eager to explore. A big fan of DIY.
What I'm Looking For: Garmay's still relatively new to game. I'm definitely looking for more CR for her. She's very young and a little bit naive. She also enjoys getting her paws on anything new or different. That includes people and stories. So very open to anything.

Character Name: Cordelia Chase
Canon: Angel the Series (Buffyverse)
About the Character: Narcissistic, snarky, kind of self-absorbed, absolutely no filter. On the other hand, beneath the surface selfishness, she actually does care a great deal about others. In a relationship with Bert, close to Angel and Doyle. She will do ANYTHING to protect the people she cares about. She's good in a fight and an excellent source for fashion tips. She is also superbly chatty and extroverted, so if you have an introverted character who has a hard time making new CR, I'm always happy to throw Cordy at them.
What I'm Looking For: A few things! She needs some more female friends (maybe we can do a log with some girls getting ready for Ben/Pasha's big event?) As for the mirror stuff, she's not getting turned, but suffice it to say, mirror!cordy is a bamf vampire. Beautiful, powerful, definitely evil. Mostly uninterested in vampire politics, but very interested in riches and fame and doing what she has to in order to make it to the top.

Character Name: Pepper Potts
Canon: Iron Man
About the Character: Pepper is CEO of Stark Enterprises and Tony's caretaker and girlfriend. Almost always calm and collected on the surface, it takes a lot to ruffle those feathers. She is very intelligent, poised, and extremely organized. While hardly *bubbly*, she is friendly enough and skilled in mingling. It might take some effort to get close, but she can be useful to have as a friend.
What I'm Looking For: CR!!! I was on a Cordy kick for a few months and fell behind with this one. I want to expand her little social group, and I really, really would love for her to develop a close enough friendship with someone that she would open up to them. Tony is great and all, but a girl needs some platonic friends. Also, she is definitely getting mirrored. Mirror Pepper is basically a Bond villain. She took control of Stark Enterprises from Tony and is currently running the show, including doing a lot of weapons manufacturing for enemies of the US, and doing a lot of trading for political information. Cold, calculated, cunning? She doesn't really give a fuck. Also, yes, definitely may also be a dominatrix, thanks for asking!

Character Name: ~~Allen Francis~~ Doyle
Canon: Angel the Series
About the Character: Doyle is a half demon and former Seer, he's unsure if he still has this ability but ICly he's recently found out he passed it to Cordelia so he's certain it's gone. Recently he's started dating Nott and been trying to fix and strengthen friendships that he's been not too good on. He's very excited for Pasha's wedding having been personally invited and all. He may or may not jokingly protest just to get her to laugh.
What I'm Looking For: Any and all CR. Mirror!Doyle which is running around right now is a more fashionable closer to the young teacher he stopped being version of himself whom happened to be in a serious relationship with a certain vampire BFF as he never met Cordelia Chase in that world, he thinks she's the GREATEST television actress of her day though. I'd like any CR you guys would be willing to throw at him!

And when he goes back to normal I'd like to have some fun with people telling him about the mirror version, and as I mentioned above ALL of the CR! Because I love all of you and I want to play with all of you. ♥♥♥

Character Name: Elena Gilbert
Canon: The Vampire Diaries
About the Character: Elena Gilbert is currently a paranoid mess. Ever since the reveal that the Nysgods are telepathic + grand prophecy has sent her into a super paranoid "they have me here because I'm the doppelganger" mode.

For those of you who don't know the canon, in TVD when super powerful spells with blood magic are performed, a doppelganger line is created to help maintain/undo the spell as needed. This means while Elena may have no physical prowess on her own, her blood is very powerful, and she's lost her agency several times over because of it, and she's personally sick of it. So she's been in hiding.

This does not make for easy CR getting, but I'm hoping that the mirror plot will kick her out of this and get her back out into the world because ... she's going to have to fix the mess vamp!Elena is going to make of her CR.
What I'm Looking For: That being said, I'm not opposed to her being a doppelganger being used as a plot point, so if you're interested in futzing around with it, let me know. I want to give her more reasons to fight for herself, as she doesn't get very many opportunities to do that on the show. (/shakes fist at Julie Plec) As for upcoming things --

MIRROR PLOT: Meet vampire!Elena. She would like to eat you all. It's very unlikely that she will actually try to kill anyone unless you seriously piss her off (she prefers the snatch, eat, erase method) but feeding and compelling are definitely on the table. If you're interested in bumping into her, please let me know what you're comfortable with. ALSO if you want to figure out what her CR is like with your character's mirror on the other side, come sort it out with me.

GALA: She will be going! What she will do there, I don't know, come help me figure it out.

Character Name: Dean Winchester (AU)
Canon: Supernatural
About the Character: This Dean never sold his soul for Sam. His Sam is a demon. However, he also has two years in Bete Noire, so he is somewhat aware of canon!him's grand destiny. He doesn't want to talk about it.
What I'm Looking For: Beyond that, he's mostly been trying to sort through his metaplot stuff. Dean will not be mirrored, however, if the people who are going to the other side want to thread with mirror!him, he's a bit of a serial killer. Blanket warning right there.

GALA: Dean is going because he's the psuedo-father of the groom. Apparently people are going to be trying to make him dance. I hope they realize this will not end well.

Character Name: Rory Fletcher/Randall Flagg
Canon: Dark Tower et. al.
About the Character: Inter-dimensional trans-temporal wizard troll asshole and general chaote still currently working to maintain his disguise as a sweet Nebraska farmboy (having now recovered from Cordelia's super-duper Goodness Beam--thanks for nothing Cordelia--but Glinda recently caught him playing with magic and has essentially taken him under her wing as a new magic-user--so things may be getting complicated).

P.S.: the dove that delivered the engagement party invitation to him is now parts (blood, feathers, heart, entrails, claws, &c) for magic. Sorry :(

What I'm Looking For: I am always up for plots, situations, problems, and trolling. Fl(agg)etcher is a bad dude. So if you, for any reason, want your character tormented, tortured, troubled, trolled, trapped, or anything else that's bad (regardless of the initial letters of said thing), baby, he's your man. He'll play at being a good guy for a while and then it'll all go straight to hell. So if you want problems, I can provide you with problems.

He's definitely going to the engagement party and will be more charming than you will be able to stand.

Character Name: Roland Deschain
Canon: Dark Tower comics
About the Character: The newly-arrived King of the Cowboys. He's still adjusting to Othala and the whole "other world" thing (even though waking up in other worlds is kind of like, "oh, must be Tuesday," later on in his canon). He's getting used to it. Culture shock is gonna be a bitch, though. He really just wants his guns, plz. At least he has friends here.

What I'm Looking For: He has only just arrived, so I'm looking for anything and everything: CR, friends, foes, whatever. It's gonna take a little while for him to get used to...things. But, whatever. Seriously: he's shiny and new and I would love to get him hooked into stuff :3c

Since he just arrived, I doubt he got an invitation to the engagement party, but he'll probably end up going anyway. Hey, he sees it as one of those situations where one is polite and serious and diplomatic and ends up learning...lots.

Also, I should probably apologize for all the inevitable moments here at the start with him when it sounds more like me RPing Flagg RPing Roland than really the character. Oh well.

Character Name: Mary Shannon
Canon: In Plain Sight
About the Character: Mary is your average sarcastic, I hate the world and all of the people in it US Marshal. Okay, so she's not so average. Mary has a really big mouth on her and a strong disbelief in anything that she can't see for herself (and even things she can since this place is too crazy for her to accept).
What I'm Looking For:

- Mirror Plot! Mary is one of the people going through the mirror. Since she spends her life protecting people from those that want to kill them at home, she'll be coming out of the mirror using those same skills to hunt people down and take them out. Want her to come after you? Want to stop her?

- Despite what she comes across as, Mary does have a soft side toward people in need. She gives some damn good advice even if it is straightforward. I'd love to have her take someone under her wing for guidance or something. I don't know.

- Friends who would want to venture outside with her. I'd love for her to get tired of being cooped up and try to walk out.

- Have a character that just wants to have a good time in bed with not a lot of strings attached? Mary would totally be game for that.

- I'm good with anything else too! Want to drink? Explore rooms? Get into major trouble exploring rooms? Something else? Anything!

So, I have no idea how... or, honestly, if Mary is even going to the engagement party... BUT! Mary has zero fashion sense. She simply doesn't care most of the time. If we can come up with a way for Cordelia to fix this problem for the party I would be totally game.

The initial log with Mary and Roland made me laugh. A lot. I'd love to have them run into each other again for some reason. I don't know what, or how, but we can probably figure it out. Right?

Maybe he wants to run into Mirror Mary?

Character Name: Chell
Canon: Portal
About the Character: A former test subject (FOR SCIENCE!) who despises robots and lacks a lot of normal human experiences. She's socially awkward, though she's come a long way since she entered the game. She lacks tact and will sometimes ask uncomfortable questions to expand her knowledge on what it means to be a normal person. She's also incredibly stubborn (she spent two games not saying a word to the AIs because she hates robots so much that she wouldn't give them the satisfaction of an answer), so it's nigh impossible to get her to budge on her opinions.
What I'm Looking For: More friends would be nice. Usually she only cares about herself unless your character makes a positive impression on her. Then she'll take a bit more notice as to what's happening in that person's life and maybe look out for them when there's trouble. She's going to the engagement party, though really only for Ben's sake and the free alcohol. I'm undecided if I'll force her into a dress or not. She doesn't want to dress up, period. No dress, no suit, nothing. So we'll see.

Character Name: Christine Chapel
Canon: Star Trek Reboot
About the Character: The no-nonsense young Head Nurse of the USS Enterprise, she's usually caring, optimistic, and strong-willed. However, since I brought her in from Bete Noire, she's cynical, paranoid, and a bit more of her selfish side tends to come out. She's still capable of being caring, but she's more likely to say "This is a stupid idea," or "I'm not helping," now. Also, I always forget to mention this in threads, but she's never without some type of scarf around her neck to hide a large throat scar she received in Bete Noire. The engagement party will actually be the first time any character here has seen her without a scarf, since she'll be wearing a pearl choker necklace instead.
What I'm Looking For: Fellow cynical peeps to kick back with her and talk about how crappy their situation is. Less cynical peeps who can make her smile again. People to dance with at the party, since she's a great dancer and loves doing it.

Neither of mine are going to be in the Mirror Plot at all, so let's just say they and their Mirrors spent the whole event in their rooms.

And Ruby has gone home. /sob

Roland or Rory? (I officially play too many characters with similar names.) Because I know Fl(agg)etcher met Mary walking around the halls and was kind of an ass to her (which was awesome, btw), but now Ro's got this thing going on where he's all "You're a girl...and you have a gun. No, seriously, let's discuss this: you're...a girl. ...and you're not Aileen... And you have...a gun."

Anyway--Rory/Fl(agg)etcher could totally meet Mirror!Mary. I am always up for shenanigans. And fooling around with the bad results of magic spells sounds like something right up his alley.

Rory... jeez. Though I am rather enjoying this whole Roland stunned that Mary has a gun thing too.

Mary is incredibly cynical as well, but at least she knows how to smile. Usually at other people's expenses. She'll happily teach Christine the art of using sarcasm to make the world not seem so bad.

Character Name: Gregory House
Canon: House MD
About the Character: Grumpy childish misanthropic genius doctor. Also, he's now Switzerland. He's capable of being quite funny and charming when he wants to be; most of the time he doesn't want to be :| Thanks to his time in Bete Noire, there's not much that'll faze him when it comes to 'wtf did the aliens/demons/vampires/etc do now?' His biggest issue right now is loneliness. Given his personality, that's nothing new but it's a little more acute at the moment. Not only did he lose the life he had back in his world, he also lost the life he'd built in BN, and he'd rather not find out if it really is three strikes and you're out.
What I'm Looking For: Anything. Everything. Srsly, I kind of suck at coming up with plot ideas but I love building on established CR and I love new CR. One thing I'm always up for is anything medical related. Being a doctor keeps House semi-sane so if you've got a PC who's sick or injured and you want to do something with it, give me a shout.

Mirror plot: House will not be mirrored but he's available to gtfo at those of you who are.
Gala: Ming the Merciless is forcing him to attend. Expect the worst.

At some point, I'm going to have to take your trolly wizard up on his problem making. Thanks to Bert, House knows what Flagg is now and he has a bad history with wizards. Also, he has a talent for pissing off the wrong people, not to mention a bit of a masochistic streak.

House and Mary need to continue being grumpy friends, and he's always game for drinking or getting in trouble XD

Canon: The Hunger Games
About the Character: Darius is a soldier-turned-slave, with a lot of slowly-unraveling conditioning and no tongue. Since the book event, he's been entirely withdrawn, simply going day to day with as little interaction as possible.

What I'm Looking For: Simply more CR, really, and whatever comes with it. I've been ridiculously behind, but desperately don't want to drop this game. If possible, I'd love someone to get into Darius's head and help me work on bringing him out of it.

Mirror Event: Alternate Darius drank the Capitol Kool-Aid and liked it. An enthusiastic soldier, he rose through the ranks high enough to be in President Snow's parade guard, then got sent to District Twelve to keep an eye on Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark after their rebellious victory. He shot Gale Hawthorne when he caught the young man hunting outside the District and he ran. Ruthless, promotion-minded, and with a sense of humor that borders on sadism. Just like his hero, Romulus Thread.

Nah, nah, it's cool. They've got really similar names (and always will since, Flaggface likes to keep the "R. F." thing going most of the time).

Sob. Culture shock is a bitch, man. (I actually love it that he's getting smacked in the face with it immediately after arriving. On the one hand, he's all "Other cultures exist and do different things, just roll with it" and on the other he's like "But it's so weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeird." Poor guy.)

Oh please do. Please please please. Shake the hand that shook the world, House. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease :3c
