Remember, this is just a fun meme so you can ship things that would NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY in game. Yay for no in-character consequences to bad decisions.

SCENARIOS
1. Stupid Cupid Your characters stumble upon a room in the temple that is dedicated to Berkano, which is the rune of love and new beginnings. Think Midsummer Night's Dream. Your characters may be close friends, strangers, or sworn enemies. Whatever the case is, they are now suddenly and inexplicably in complete and total love. They may or may not be aware that this makes no sense, but they can't help themselves.

2. Some Like It Hot Forget love and new beginnings. Your characters have ACTUALLY stumbled upon a room in the temple that is dedicated to Kenaz, the rune of fire, passion, and sex. There's no stopping you, even if you tried. Luckily, the room is prepared for that, and comes equipped with a bed. Whether or not you guys make it that far across the room is another question.

3. I Can Hear The Bells Your characters are getting married. Maybe it's true love, maybe it's to get out of marrying Tristan, maybe you're being forced into it and this ship is a little dub-con, or maybe it's because you accidentally participated in some Nysgod ritual and weren't aware of its implications. Either way, the wedding is about to happen or just has. How do you feel about that?

4. I Don't Want To Go Your character has been determined to NOT be the one for Tristan. Whether or not they like it, they're being sent home. Do they choose to spend it with a close friend, with the one they love? Or maybe, do they decide to finally tell that person they've always had a crush on just how they feel? You only have one night left, what you do with it is up to you.

5. The First Time Your characters are interested in each other and it's time to do something about it. Either the first date, the first kiss, the first I love you....or some other significant first. Whatever it is, it's definitely time to take that step. So who's going to take the initiative?

6. The Morning After Your characters definitely went at it. Maybe it's the first time, maybe they're cheating on someone, maybe it was out of anger. Whatever the case, for some reason, it was significant and you're going to have to talk about it. Good morning, Starshine! The earth says it's time for some cuddling and/or awkward conversation.

7. Potpourri Have another idea? Pregnancy, proposal, accidental body contact, trapped together, caught in the rain, hurt/comfort, etc? Go for it! Make your own scenarios up and run with them.

7 Caught in the Rain

"Come on Princess! Before you catch your death out here!" He called out, he had his jacket pulled up half over his own head. It was coming down way too hard compared to the drizzling it had been doing moments before it was pelting down hard now. It was cold and miserable and kind of stung.

He was slipping his arms free of the leather moving back to meet her partway as he moved his jacket from over himself to her. He didn't want her sick, he'd rather deal with the iritation of being ill then see Cordelia Chase with the sniffles.

[Cordelia Chase doesn't often cry.

Sure, it happens occasionally to anyone. You're in enough pain, your dog dies, whatever. But she's never been someone who really reacts to things with tears. She gets mad or she finds a way to fix her problem. She doesn't weep.

Except now. Waiting for Bert to come back to their room, curled on her side on their bed, she lets the tears leak onto her arm, silent sobs eventually causing her shoulders to shake.]

He wasn't sure when she'd gotten so beautiful. No, that's not true, he told himself. She'd always been beautiful.

He'd just been too besotted with Buffy to even notice. But Buffy wasn't here. And it was as if he'd awakened from years of baffling dreams to realize that what he wanted was right here in this room, standing mere feet away. The realization was so sudden that all the could do was stand there, gobsmacked, marveling at her perfection.

It had started out as simple exploration. Discover more room in the temple, see if there were ones that hadn’t yet been found or were new (could the temple add new rooms? Now that was a thought). But this room was... different. It didn’t feel dangerous; there was no warning prickling at her. No sense of needing to leave NOW.

It was just... warm. A warmth that sank into her skin, down to her bones. “I don’t... I don’t think I’ve seen this room before,” she murmured softly. There was a bed... why was there a bed. As the warmth sank deeper into her bones, making her heart beat faster, she had a sinking suspicion she knew exactly why that room had a bed.

She sniffled, downing the last of her bourbon on Doyle's bed, blood tears running down her cheeks. "I guess I should have seen it coming." Nott told him, bringing her knees to her chest. "He wouldn't want someone like me. Not that I want him." She sniffled again. "But I don't understand why I have to go! Why I have to leave you!"

Glinda hadn't expected to be chosen. She'd wished for it. She'd hoped, prayed and even dreamed of it. But it seemed that she wasn't the one. Not surprising really given the fact there were so very many wonderful people there.

It was like the natural light and bubble had been clean knocked out of the witch after being told that she was going to be sent home. But if she only had one night left before being sent back with no memory of the whole sorry business, there was only one thing that she could do, and it certainly wasn't going to be sitting about moping and feeling sorry for herself.

It was really just an overwhelmment of emotion that caused her to act so irrationally, find the Doctor, fling her arms around him and kiss him.

How many rooms were in this temple. Through her wanderings, she stumbled upon another random room. The heat raised in her body, a different sort of hunger fueling her body. Nott turned as another walked into the room, her eyes trailing over him in approval.

"So," she said slowly, moving towards him. "What sort of place is this, you think? A place that has a bed in it?"

[Cordelia is not normally the most alert person in the morning. A lot of groaning, rolling in her sheets, and hitting the snooze button.

This morning, she is immediately alert upon waking. This bed is not hers, this ceiling isn't hers, and the feel of the person beside her is different than the feel of Bert.

It only takes her a moment to remember. She remembers the alcohol, the coming to Angel's room, the insisting that she loved him and needed him and she remembered taking her clothes off before he could talk sense into her.

Slowly, trying to remain as still and quiet as possible, she turns her head to look over at him. Maybe if he's still asleep, she can sneak out without having to talk about this.]

Getting caught in the rain hd not been part of the plan. Doyle was hiding away from his problems again and he knew the man he owed a fair bit of coin too was out looking for him. He hadnt told Nott of the problem but he had asked her to the bar all the same. When the rain started to pour he pulled her into the alleyway just under a storm drain barley enough room for one to be safe from the rain but still he tried to sheild her from it by putting her against the wall and holding her against his chest. Despite the danger stalking him it had been shaping up to be a beautiful night.

[Glinda always did sleep soundly throughout the night. And that evening, or early morning by the time she settled, she had slept especially soundly. Perhaps it was the physical exertion?

However, waking up is not the same as sleeping and when she does. Oh dear Lurline how she panics and freezes as still as if she were a statue. Unlike most she can remember exactly how she got here. And exactly what happened last night. And oh, well those are her corset strings hanging from the chandler aren't they?

The witch rolls onto her back and stares up at the ceiling and replays the events in her mind. What a very amazingly eventful evening. To say that she has a little bit of a smirk on her face wouldn't be unreasonable. Perhaps this was what she did wrong last time, not sleeping beside them after the event, rather than running off and worrying about her 'fallen' state. She didn't feel like a ruined woman at all. Quite the opposite, she felt rather cheerful.]

It had just been a stupid fucking red berry. And sure, there’d had ended up being a serious exchange of looks with Sam... but mostly from the humour of the situation. It had been so bloody SERIOUS and intense. She couldn’t help but look to someone who could find the situation funny with her.

Turns out it wasn’t funny at ALL. Apparently that whole eating the red berry they’d been given plus the serious exchange of looks... meant they were married. Hadn’t THAT been a surprise fucking announcement.

And now they were secluded in some antechamber, where they had been instructed to dress for the consummation. Which was apparently preceded by a small combination ritual/processional while servants prepared the wedding chambers.

“Think we can make a break for it?”

The real trick with being a student of magic all over again was making sure to neither be too slow on the uptake nor too much of an expert all at once. And it was no easy balancing act, to be quite honest about it (because, hell, he wasn't being honest about anything else).

Having to act like it was an absolute struggle to push water up the inside of a glass and back into the glass held over it, for example, was more than a little tedious when one was perfectly capable of transmuting lead bullets into rings of fire and ash while the bullets were still in mid-flight thank you very much, to say nothing of setting an illusion on a crow and of altering one's own appearance at will.

This was worse than those moments when his entire presence as Court Wizard (which was kind of a weird title) was reduced to telling the romantic fortunes of the giggling young ladies in the castle with his own and personal wicked pack of cards.

But he could endure it. He might not be patient, but he could endure it. He could endure many things, especially if the payoff was great enough. And, in truth, having this good-natured and good-hearted witch as an ally and as someone who believed him to be what he appeared, the guileless farmboy, would be of great benefit. If the Allgood welp got to whining about evil wizards (evil wizaaaaaaaaards!!) in Othala, well, here was a character witness to stand against him.

So. Here in some quiet and stained-glass room in the temple, with a vaseful of flowers, he was busy at practicing his magic. A few blossoms plucked off and resting on the glass table before him, an ersatz wand cut from a tree in one of the courtyards (what was it even, willow maybe?), his ostensible teacher hovering nearby, and he was very patiently working setting up illusions on those blossoms, that they would float about the room while fluttering their petals like butterflies (gag, but it was lightweight work).

Angel walked a lot. It helped cleared his mind and gave him exercise. It also gave him a reason to nose about in rooms. He was always curious as to what the Temple would offer him next.

A door opens to for all intent, looks like a little secret garden. It even had jasmine growing, one of Angel's favorite flowers. Night-blooming, just like him.

It was a simple, rather nondescript wooden door in a less travelled corridor of the temple. What was odd, however, were the runes carved into the doorjamb. There were no other doors that she’d seen with such carvings. She frowned thoughtfully, fingertips tracing lightly over the carving of one rune in particular. It was familiar, the itch of almost-knowing what it meant causing her brain to tingle. She hated it when that happened.

Perhaps there would be a clue inside. So she opened the door and stepped across the threshold.

Angel paced nervously outside the chapel doors. The wedding was in an hour and his groom was no where to be found. Angel nervously tugged at the cuffs of his tux shirt and he kept looking for a clock to tell him that it was time to get this all over with. The walls were less then helpful.

[Pasha always did sleep better after sex. It was crass to say it aloud, but who was she to deny the facts, a bit of exercise and a good amount of endorphins and hormones made for a good night's sleep. However, waking up cuddled into somebody who definitely isn't Ben isn't a good way to start the day. Particularly given who it is.]

[She sits bolt upright in bed, covering herself in the bedsheet and going puce. But soon enough her distress turns into sheer anger and she's yelling.] You aren't an android at all! [And how distressing a thought that is now. Androids certainly weren't programmed to have sex with people. But people were.]
