Welcome to the ToS Shipping Meme! The rules are simple.

1. Post your character/preferences.
2. Reply to other characters with one of the following scenarios

Remember, this is just a fun meme so you can ship things that would NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY in game. Yay for no in-character consequences to bad decisions.

SCENARIOS
1. Stupid Cupid Your characters stumble upon a room in the temple that is dedicated to Berkano, which is the rune of love and new beginnings. Think Midsummer Night's Dream. Your characters may be close friends, strangers, or sworn enemies. Whatever the case is, they are now suddenly and inexplicably in complete and total love. They may or may not be aware that this makes no sense, but they can't help themselves.

2. Some Like It Hot Forget love and new beginnings. Your characters have ACTUALLY stumbled upon a room in the temple that is dedicated to Kenaz, the rune of fire, passion, and sex. There's no stopping you, even if you tried. Luckily, the room is prepared for that, and comes equipped with a bed. Whether or not you guys make it that far across the room is another question.

3. I Can Hear The Bells Your characters are getting married. Maybe it's true love, maybe it's to get out of marrying Tristan, maybe you're being forced into it and this ship is a little dub-con, or maybe it's because you accidentally participated in some Nysgod ritual and weren't aware of its implications. Either way, the wedding is about to happen or just has. How do you feel about that?

4. I Don't Want To Go Your character has been determined to NOT be the one for Tristan. Whether or not they like it, they're being sent home. Do they choose to spend it with a close friend, with the one they love? Or maybe, do they decide to finally tell that person they've always had a crush on just how they feel? You only have one night left, what you do with it is up to you.

5. The First Time Your characters are interested in each other and it's time to do something about it. Either the first date, the first kiss, the first I love you....or some other significant first. Whatever it is, it's definitely time to take that step. So who's going to take the initiative?

6. The Morning After Your characters definitely went at it. Maybe it's the first time, maybe they're cheating on someone, maybe it was out of anger. Whatever the case, for some reason, it was significant and you're going to have to talk about it. Good morning, Starshine! The earth says it's time for some cuddling and/or awkward conversation.

7. Potpourri Have another idea? Pregnancy, proposal, accidental body contact, trapped together, caught in the rain, hurt/comfort, etc? Go for it! Make your own scenarios up and run with them.

[Cordelia is not normally the most alert person in the morning. A lot of groaning, rolling in her sheets, and hitting the snooze button.

This morning, she is immediately alert upon waking. This bed is not hers, this ceiling isn't hers, and the feel of the person beside her is different than the feel of Bert.

It only takes her a moment to remember. She remembers the alcohol, the coming to Angel's room, the insisting that she loved him and needed him and she remembered taking her clothes off before he could talk sense into her.

Slowly, trying to remain as still and quiet as possible, she turns her head to look over at him. Maybe if he's still asleep, she can sneak out without having to talk about this.]

[Angel was a light sleeper by years of conditioning but she was warm and he was comfortable against her. He's still asleep, but if she pulls away from him, he'll be awake.]

[Slow and steady, Chase.

Inhale, exhale, no need to panic. You probably didn't ruin anything and he's probably not suddenly evil.

Vampires and their superhearing are not going to be working in your favor. She takes a hold of his arm, carefully pulling it up, and moves to sit up and slip away.]

[His arm tightens for a moment around her waist as she starts moving him, but a half second later she's released. Angel murmurs a protest at the warm thing leaving and raises his head from the pillow with one sleepy cracked eye.]

Cordy? [Then he joins her in remembrance of the past evening. He's not bogged down with post nap haze anymore. Angel rolls over onto his back and stares at the ceiling.]

Oh crap.

[Shit.

Shit, shit, shit. Why doesn't she have a stake? Always go to bed with a stake in reaching distance.

On the one hand, Angelus wouldn't probably greet her this way. On the other hand, Angelus has pretended to be Angel before.]

Ye-es. [Cautiously spoken.] 'Oh crap' about sums it up, I think.

How many rooms were in this temple. Through her wanderings, she stumbled upon another random room. The heat raised in her body, a different sort of hunger fueling her body. Nott turned as another walked into the room, her eyes trailing over him in approval.

"So," she said slowly, moving towards him. "What sort of place is this, you think? A place that has a bed in it?"

She sniffled, downing the last of her bourbon on Doyle's bed, blood tears running down her cheeks. "I guess I should have seen it coming." Nott told him, bringing her knees to her chest. "He wouldn't want someone like me. Not that I want him." She sniffled again. "But I don't understand why I have to go! Why I have to leave you!"

[He rubs his face, palms coming to a rest on his head as he tries to comprehend the situation they've gotten into.]

Maybe..maybe you should stop drinking Cordy. You're.. [He struggles for the word that would describe her without offending her.] a force.

[Sounds safe enough. He glances at her quickly before gathering the sheet around his waist, leaving her the blanket and shuffling off the bed to get something more appropriate to cover himself. They were going to have to talk and being naked was a major distraction.]

Hey, this isn't my fault.

[Okay, yes, it's totally her fault, but she's not about to admit that to anyone.

At least she notices the nudity situation, lifting the blanket to cover her chest and give him a bit of a stink eye as he walks away.]

And is that seriously the first thing you can think of to say? Good morning, Cordy. You should stop drinking.

God, at least offer a girl some cab fare.

They don't even have cabs. [There's some uncomfortable looking shuffling, but Angel finally got his boxers on. The sheet is dropped in the floor as he moves to the bathroom door, reaching behind it to grab his robe. He walks back and hands it to her, a funny look in his eye.]

Good morning Cordelia, you're beautiful when you first wake up.

[It's true, of course, and the best she'll get of him fixing his blunder this early.]

Okay. Well. Yes, that's true.

[She seems a little bit less miffed as she takes the robe from him. He doesn't seem evil. He's not trying to get to round two or anything, apparently and speaking of which-

Why isn't he trying to get to round two?]

I've seen you look more enthusiastic about getting your literal broadsword polished.

What? [His face echos the surprise in his voice. Oh, that. No, that never even crossed his mind. He offers a small smile and a shake of his head.]

No, it was good. [This is Cordelia Chase after all, maybe she'd get offended.] Great. It was.. [Really, how do you adequately gauge someone on that and not sound like a jackass saying it was good. He'll just brush past that and answer her statement.]

I figured you'd be less pleased at waking up in my bed. You know. With Bert and all.
