Do you want to know a secret? Do you promise not to tell?
Secrets, secrets are no fun...
Hi there, players. We have an upcoming plot for anyone interested in participating. Please, please PLEASE read the entire post before commenting! And keep in mind that this is entirely optional.
We're looking for secrets. Secrets that your character has been hiding. They can be major, earth-shattering secrets (If you're playing Clark Kent, your secret could be "I'm Superman") or small secrets that are hidden for the sake of comfort or embarrassment (Clark's smaller secret might be "I was adopted" or "I wear Batman underpants"). It's up to you, what kind of secret you'd like to share with us, but here is the catch: If you give us a secret, it will be exposed. That's right. A lot of secrets are about to get exposed. So please consider very carefully what/if you contribute.
Here are the rules for submitting a secret:
1. Please only submit one secret. It can be from your backstory or something that's happened since arriving in Niflheim.
2. Please only choose one of your characters to submit for. This might be a good opportunity for characters with limited CR to get involved in things, but any character you want will suffice!
3. Again, please remember that any secret you give us will be revealed to the entire PC base at large. Do not share something with us that you don't want exposed. On the other hand, if you have some secret that you've been dying to have exposed, but haven't been able to find a way to expose, here's your opportunity.
The rules are fairly simple. Take some time to consider whose secret you want revealed. Also, again, keep in mind that this is entirely OPTIONAL.
The deadline for submitting secrets is Thursday, July 11. That is a hard deadline. Sorry folks. Once the deadline has passed, a plot point in which these secrets are revealed will appear, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the fallout. Obviously, even if you don't submit anything, you can still participate! Or not! The choice is yours!
And yes, this plot point was motivated by PC actions. We won't say who caused this one. That's the mods' secret.

1. Reinette was afflicted (historically) with a discharge that made it extremely painful for her to have sex. The King spurned her and once remarked that she was a cold fish (a play on her last name "Poisson.") It was a large secret that was exposed once, costing the person their position and a banishment.
2. The second secret is that Reinette received death threats at Versailles. A note was pinned to her fireplace, detailing what the person would do to her. Another was someone had a fish's skeleton sent to her rooms. And the people of Paris attacked her.
