Normally Joan never had time. On a typical day she juggled multiple large crisis and even more everyday occurrences. That was all on top of her usual paperwork. She rarely every took breaks. Here, however, the rules seemed to be different. She wasn't in her office at the DPD trying to protect the country from terrorist and arms dealers. She was... she didn't even know where.

She sighed and decided it wouldn't hurt anything to rest for a little bit. Of course she wasn't going to let him get off quite that easily.

"You had to grab whiskey, didn't you?"

"I like whiskey," Izumo countered, cheerily. "Though straight it is a little much. I prefer a good whiskey sour." He smirked at her. "What's your favorite drink, Miss Joan?" He looked around again, then headed for the edge of the courtyard. There was a low stone bench beside a flowering bush; it smelled vaguely like jasmine.

"White wine."

It was a major staple in her life. There home never ran out of white wine or scotch.

She followed him over to the bench and happily sat down. With the adrenaline that had been pumping through her since realizing they were trapped in a closet was now gone, she was starting to feel all of the exertion. A little rest would be nice to make sure her body actually did calm down.
