Both of those things sounded exactly what she'd expect from her Captain. Of course, it also meant that there was something here at work that Jane didn't agree with. That alerted her that their situation was not favorable. Considering that she hadn't planned to end up here, and looking like this, meant they'd been captured. So it was a situation that involved them and not the natives of this world. "What did you learn?"

It wouldn't be worth it unless, they'd learned something. Though the shuttle highjacking would have been entertaining all by itself.

"Whatever you need of me, I'll do it," she said, not that it needed to be spoken out loud. Jane should know that the Enterprise would do anything she possibly could.

"Magic is the WORST." Jane wrapped her arms around her girl and squeezed. Different shell. Same fucking Enterprise. Jane would love her just as fierce and with as much protective might as she would when they were both safeguarding hundreds of others.

"And we're going to have to be more clever if we want to make a true attempt at getting out of this city."

She nosed the Enterprise's neck and tightened her hold. "I know you will."

"Magic." There was a hint of disbelief in her voice, reflected in her face. While there was a lot about the universe they had yet to figure out - to even see but she was built with science, her mission was scientific exploration. Magic was not exactly a concept that was easy to accept. However looking at herself, at this very human body, she couldn't deny its existence entirely.

Her eyes flick up to look at Jane's face reflected in the mirror. "I'm certain you'll think of something. Any plans I come up with may not be as creative as yours." Jane may find her to be a little more like Spock in that aspect. At least for a time.

She doesn't say that she will protect any of the crew members with her life, including her own Captain.
