They had heard something from behind those doors. So when Spock pushed the them open and charged inside, he was ready to fight, and he knew Lt. Sulu would be right behind him. They had been taking down demons all day, and for Spock, he hadn't felt this at ease and in his element since he arrived a few weeks ago. The hand motions, the training, the clear and established procedure all felt criminally natural.
So when they found no one in the room, he was ... surprised. In fact, the entire room was rather small. Perhaps only 12 by 12 feet and it was dimly lit by a soft glowing light on the ceiling. The only other object was a bed. It looked as if it was recently cleaned and made. Someone had even fluffed the pillows.
That's when he felt it — Sulu's hand holding one of his. Spock immediately turned around to look at the lieutenant, his own brows furrowed in both confusion and curiosity.
Desire.
He could feel it radiating from her touch, and when she kissed his knuckles he felt it growing stronger. But there was something else, there was another emotion stemming from him that Spock's rational mind was attempting to single out.
Until the Vulcan realized that it was impossible to distinguish two emotions, if they were one and the same. His own desire to have her was unyielding.
So when he saw the questioning in her eyes, asking whether what she had done would result in his acceptance or denial, Spock answered with action. Stepping towards her, he brought one hand to her neck and another to her waist and he kissed her.
hope this is okay!

The door behind them automatically slammed shut.
