[She sets him with an amused look, having a notion that he'd be sipping at it on the way.]

Well then, I'd better ride over with you to make sure you don't down it all in one go.

[It's partly because she wants to see how he's getting on with Gebo on the trip over to the manufacturing building, and partly because she wants to see how he does with water shuttle travel. Her bag doubles as a medical kit so she's got a sick bag in there.]

By all means, Miss Chapel. [ He ushers her into the shuttle first before he follows. ] You can act as my buffer against the rest of society...

[ That and actually striking up a conversation with someone he genuinely enjoys talking to might keep the nausea away. ]

Oh, indeed, Dr. McCoy. I wouldn't want you having to mix with society. The horror.

[She shoots him a smirk as she takes her seat. This should be an interesting ride.]

Now you're allowed two more short sips and then you save that til afterwards. Or else I'm confiscating it.

[ It is horrifying! You think he picked a medical profession so he can rub elbows with people in public transit? Crappy public transit even? Spoiler alert: No he did not! He picked it because poor fools like these needed a safe haven led by someone with common sense! Something rather hard to find these days, and moreso here! ]

Oh I'm sorry, I thought this was my gift to do what I want with it. I didn't realize it'd come equipped with stipulations...

[Wow, ungrateful much? Christine fixes him with a look that would make any old schoolmarm proud. It's steely and intense and not to be messed with.]

[ Huff!] Unlikely....

[ Begrudgingly, he takes only a short swig of the stuff so he doesn't get slapped. The warm tang is soothing to an angry man's nerves. ]

And my troubles are nothin' new...

[ Bitching about them, while an incredible skill of his, for the umpteenth time isn't going to change the world around him. ]
