[ Jane Kirk. His stony scowl breaks under the weight of deja vu that finally clocks him like a punch in the face.

His hazel eyes slowly pull away from the horizon to the offered hand, then up into a pair of blue that had been made for one person. ]

You've gotta be kiddin' me...

[Jane beams and claps him on the shoulder, giving him a light shake before offering up a thermos.]

Love you too, Bones. I left my hip flask in another universe, but I promise what's in here makes up for it.

[ He takes the thermos numbly from the woman, but he can't drink quite yet. McCoy's mouth is too agape to hold any liquid at this point anyway. ]

[Breathe, Bones. Air isn't optional. He's going to need to breathe if he wants any kind of answer. Jane can't remember the last time she managed to reduce Bones to true incoherence but he was gibbering now.]
